Dragon riding was probably just borrowed power…. Did you get to keep all the other borrowed powers?

Just glad they’re keeping it in … while expanding on which mounts can do it.
Called it back when Dragonflying was announced that it was a prototype of a new type of flight for all mounts.
There’s a datamined switch between static and dynamic flying, so calm down.

im really worried that people won’t have fun the proper way if they get dynamic flying before 12 months after expansion release.
dynamic flying is too fast and it allows people to skip content and not have fun the way that the developers intended, so we need to timegate it behind a 12 month pathfinder achieve.

Dragonriding is here to stay but is Dynamic flying now since more than dragons will be able to do it come The War Within (or earlier)

Honestly, having both available from day-1 will keep the most people happy and keep the s-storm here to a minimum (not end it, obviously!).

theres no reason to not have traditional flying available if they allow dragon gliding.

I agree with that.
I never really mastered dragon riding, the need to constantly press something is just not my cup of tea.
I love the traditional system where you just tick auto run and you can read up on something and when you tab back in, you are at your destination or stuck at some tree. 
Not having this anymore, would be quite a blow to me.

I love Dragon Riding, one of the best things ever added in the game in my opinion…BUT maining a druid and not having access to my flightform has been a huge bummer ALL expansion. AND not letting the people who hate DR use the old version was pretty lame.

Only if they add a hover. Dragonflying or ‘dynamic’ flying with no hover is no good.
You should be able to alternate between both fly modes while mounted.

You can really do this with Dragon Riding… just get up to height and angle slightly down and it flies itself really. But I understand you want the old ways. Hope you gget it in the new xpac
