DYK: Rune Tap generates 10 Runic Power?

The Rune Tap talent generates 10 Runic Power each time it is used.

It doesn’t mention that anywhere in the tooltip:

Reduces all damage taken by 30% for 4 sec.

Is this something new?

If it uses a rune, it generates runic power.

Wow, D&D generates 10 too.
I did not know, wasnt mentioned anywhere. Has it always been like that?

Yes.
Death Gate also generates 10 runic power, but those applications are fairly useless.
