Dying to fall damage in Gravity Lapse brawl

Just finished a gravity lapse brawl, and there were multiple instances where around half the people that went into the air died due to fall damage. It was kind of funny the first time, but after that was super annoying. In one case, we were having a big team fight at DR, and our whole team died while the other team landed safely. Anyone else have the same issue / know what causes it?

It’s not the fall that kills you, it’s the stop. I don’t care for that brawl too much.

That usually only happens to me if I’m mounted when I’m thrown in the air. Disconnecting on landing is another thing that happens to me quite often.

They should just remove this brawl, too many bugs/issues to keep having it if they’re not gonna or just can’t fix it.

This one is growing on me. I like how you can get inside buildings to keep yourself from being blown into the air. It forces some close tight combat at DR and Belf.

I died 3 times last night from falling damage in one brawl… on mount , and twice in GW.

I mean Blizz seriously … is this the best you can do ?

What were the circumstances? Did you cancel it early?

I did absolutely nothing … all the times I was trying to land near where I was before and I just dropped like a stone .

It’s a bug. Once in awhile if mounted, I die of fall damage. Now I just make sure to dismount so I can dc when landing. :wink:

I’ve honestly only dc’d a few times. It’s as random as goblin glider landing dc.

Now you know how demon hunters feel. I still get dc’d from fel rush every now and then and now eye beam since bfa

Happened to me a couple times, I got in the habit of glidering or flapping.

I enjoy throwing blind at a random player while everyone’s up in the air, the victim gets stuck up there only to fall to their death shortly later.

Kul Tirans are having a hay day with this brawl… using the Haymaker knockback is pretty great. Knock them off a cliff and stun them. Admiral’s favor, friend.
