Dwarven Metal

Will there be any dwarven metal bands at blizzcon?

If not, why the heck not?!

I’m pretty sure their music is inspired by Warhammer and not WoW Dwarves. Although, their version of Diggy Diggy Hole definitely makes me want to kill stuff in WoW.

Which are in turn inspired by Warhammer Dwarves.

Are they? I always thought WoW Dwarves were inspired by Tolkein Dwarves and D&D dwarves. But I guess, you could say that Warhammer dwarves had the same inspiration.

Warcraft was originally going to be a Warhammer RTS until Games Workshop pulled the licensing. And most things build off of Tolkien’s template.

The metalhead thread here is struggling to keep being bumped from archive status. I think there may have also been issues with Corpsegrinder at a Blizzcon once.

Interesting, and I’ve never really played Warhammer outside of their MMO…but based on Wind Rose songs and videos, they seem to be a bit more motivated by treasure and battle than how the WoW dwarves are portrayed in-game. But I’m probably missing a lot of stuff because I only pay attention to the stuff they show in WoW and not the books.

Ok, but these guys even cosplay as dwarves. It’s not yer good ol regular metal.

Oh No,it has to be an Horde band they wouldn’t have it any other way.

The supposed leaks and hints also suggest a dwarven continent/region. Ties right in.

That doesn’t better it has to be a Horde band to arousal them,it not about Alliance at all.

I never mentioned alliance, just dwarves.

Given all the legal trouble Blizzard has seen, I don’t think they want to arousal anyone at Blizzcon.

Yet, there wouldn’t be ,which would you really prefer as a Horde? You are indeed an Horde or you are a traitor.

I’m an altoholic. I’m all over the place. If I could choose, I’d be with the Tillers.

Pandas,pandas :sob:

Cooking, farming, pandas.
Would you like some shrimp?

Dwarven Metal:

David St. Hubbins:
I do not, for one, think that the problem was that the band was down. I think that the problem may have been, that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf. Alright? That tended to understate the hugeness of the object.

Ian Faith:
I really think you’re just making much too big a thing out of it.

Derek Smalls:
Making a big thing out of it would have been a good idea.

Do you want Blizzard to hire Rick Priestley?

Warhammer dwarves gor ate to death by rat people, tho. WoW dwarves got their flaws, but being conquered by rats isn’t one of them.

Then again, the Skaven were basically the Warhammer Fantasy apocalypse.
