Dwarf related zones

If someone could possibly help out, what zones would you say are dwarf related, whether by lore or visual influence? I understand that Dun Morogh, Loch Modan, Arathi Highlands, The Hinterlands, and The Wetlands all have a big dwarf influence (whether it’s the Ironforge dwarves or the Wildhammer dwarves). Mainly asking cause i’m leveling some dwarves and i kinda wanna just do the zones for lore while questing on them

Twilight Highlands
Howling Fjord and Grizzly Hills have some Iron Dwarf stuff
Storm Peaks is the big one for Northrend.
Badlands (Ulduman)
Searing Gorge (Dark Irons)
Burning Steppes has the ruins of the original Dark Iron capital

Not really Dwarf focused tbh. More Human due to Stromgarde. For Alliance anyway.

Twilight Highlands, Searing Gorge, Burning Steppes, and Badlands

There was some dwarf presence in Southern Barrens. :world_map::robot:

I would also argue Mount Hyjal because of the Ragnaros connection.

Ah, ok. I probably misremembered that zone then

You definelly check Twilight Highlands. It’s Wildhammer clan home. Their story lines there are super fun.
The zone is not entirelly about them, it have some alliance vs Horde, Twilight Hammer, and Red Dragonflight stuff. But the dwarves have good part of it.

  • Dun Morogh and Loch Modan for Bronzebeard Dwarf
  • Hinterlands and Twilight Highlands for Wildhammer Dwarf
  • Burning Steppes, Searing Gorge and Blackrock Mountain for Dark Iron Dwarf

The whole region of Khaz’Modan, which includes those zones you listed, Dun Morogh, Loch Modan, Hinterlands, Arathi, Wetlands. Twilight Highlands as well.

Maybe visit Badlands for a Classic Uldaman run, as that was the original Dwarven dungeon, and original Earthen too.

I’d also include Searing Gorge, mostly Dark Irons but their presence is heavy there.

After those zones, maybe Outland, as there’s good dwarven influence there in Honor Hold with the siege engines, and then the actual Dwarven outpost built in Shadowmoon, Wildhammer Stronghold.

Wrath has a whole buttload of Dwarven lore, most of it centered in the Storm Peaks and around Ulduar, I’d probably start in the Howling Fjord and do the dwarven expeditionary quests first, idk.

Not much after that, until we got Earthen stuff in TWW.

alright. i’m leveling some dwarves, dark irons, and earthen cause this expansion sparked my interest for dwarves (which are my favorite fantasy race). no idea why i never played dwarves before this expansion.

Forgot to mention Deepholm as it does have some Earthen stuff in there too. The second chapter of the main questline of the zone has you help some Earthen deal with the Stone Troggs in the region.

I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for the help. I’m enjoying my dwarf warrior a ton, and i genuinely think I’m gonna use her or my dwarf shaman to archaeology cause of their racial

All the pubs and taverns :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :beers:
