Dwarf Druids

Next to the Hero classes (which barely anyone cares about anyways), Druid is the class with the least amount of playable races, second to Paladin. Horde has 4 Druid-capable races, while the Alliance has 3.

Personally, I believe that the Alliance should have one more Druid-capable race, and I vote Dwarf.

  • We have seen Dwarf Druids in the past in the RPGs, which have generally in the past been WoW’s handbook for making race/class combos.
  • The Wildhammer Clan is known to “preserve nature and prevent evil from tainting their lands”, a similar charge to Druidism in general.
  • It would be an excellent way to have more Wildhammer representation in WoW’s story. Almost every impactful dwarf is a Bronzebeard or Dark Iron.

There have been numerous designs for Wildhammer animal forms, from earthen-style animals to bears and boomkin with big bushy beards. Also, think of the Ram travel form!

In exchange, we give another Horde race access to Paladin. Maybe HMT or Undead.

Thanks!

Five? 2x tauren, 2x troll – what’s the fifth?

I’d much rather we give some love to ye olden Moonkin models. I look like a mob from the hinterlands.

I’m a bit shocked Vulpera hasn’t gotten it.

I vote Vulpera and Gnomes! Give them tiny woodland critter forms!

Don’t mess with the classics. Embrace the oomkin.

They [Blizzard] have actually said they’re working on giving all classes to all races, but the one’s that will ‘take a long time’ will be Shaman, Druid, and Paladin for obvious reasons.

Some will also need some lore put into it that is more than just “Well, they saw someone do it so now they can do it!” much like a Draenei Warlock needing some weird lore.

Though I dunno how they’ll make dwarf druids look different from others, considering you have both Ironforge and Wildhammer dwarves under the same ‘race’ per se.

I know Dark Iron would have so cool looking lava animals, but normal dwarves? I think Bear form should be a ram and flight for should be a griffin.

Four. Otherwise I’d have 5. OP, do your homework before pleading your case. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Like we need a drunk bear around azeroth.

The one that I made up in my mind while staring at a race/class chart

Let’s compromise, Vulpera Druids. They’re short and tiny, and adorable.

Can we get more than just dwarves and add like 3-5 more druid races?

That would also be nice, but I honestly can’t think of any other race that would fit Druid.

I mean humans are the jack of all trades race.

Dwarf, Human, and Void Elf just for the Nightmare Druid aspect would be cool.

Then for horde Blood Elf and Orc.

As an alliance main, I never felt bad about alliance druid options when compared to horde tbh.

While we have one less option, alliance has far more variety with our options. With Horde you’re choosing between four different brands of native American.

With that said, Pandaren druids are too perfect of a fit lorewise. Would be great for variety for both factions as well.

Dwarf Druids?? Only if every form has short stubby legs. Guardian: Boar, Travel form, Piglet, Stealth form, ferret, and so on.

Ugh I don’t want that for a horde option. I just want a normal like medium sized or smaller race for horde druids.

In fact all the druid races in the game are larger than the “standard” size of races. And by standard I just mean how humans and orcs are of the same height.

Dwarf druid and Vulpera druids. Both of those make sense.

Seriously? Vulpera make perfect sense and horde needs a ‘cute’ druid race for the women that play horde.

You had me at Dwarf Druids, but I will take an Undead Paladin :ok_hand:
