Dustwallow Marsh quests

Would the comunity be against the quests that were added there later?
I know they were not a thing in classic, but since they’re pre 60 content I believe they would be way more useful here than in retail.

Slippery slope

#nochanges

I think the whole world could use a do-over. Some type of Cataclysmic event to completely change the landscape of WoW forever.

Until we ask for Vanilla back.

Then we will just ask for stuff that was added later and the vicious circle will continue again and again until we’re all dead.

I’m a no change type of person as well.
It’s just that this zone feels unfinished.

I was always disappointed that the zone has so few quests myself, with Theramore being such a big Alliance city and very little to do there. During beta testing, I even submitted that I thought the zone was severely under utilized and could use more quests.

However, we gotta stick with no changes since this is how it was for a long time.

Everything Cataclysm did to the original Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor is pre-60 content. Where would you like the “do over” to end? Maybe after adding the post-Cataclysm quests for Thousand Needles? or Tanaris? or Un’goro Crater? or Felwood? or Burning Steppes? or Eastern Plaguelands?

I know, I know; you’re only talking about one zone. But someone else will want to talk about THEIR zone, then a third person will mention the zone THEY want, then a fourth and a fifth and a sixth person ad infinitum ad nauseum.

Slippery slope, you say? No, guaranteed downward spiral as the people who fought for 10+ years to get Classic, leave Blizzard-Entertainment in disgust.

I understand what you’re saying but Dustwallow quests aren’t part of the cataclysm changes. It actually happened on it’s own patch because of the lack of content on this zone.
The zones that changed with cata aren’t lacking content.
But it’s no biggie. I just wanted to know what people think about it. I’m actually happy with the game as it is.

Yes the Dustwallow Marsh changes were part of cata. They weren’t made until Cata. If you mean specifically that Deathwing did not wreck Duskwood physically, so what?

New content was introduced after Vanilla.

No content introduced after Vanilla belongs in Classic.

Old dustwalliow marsh us great for solo farming. The less reaaon for people come the better. No changes

It’s one of my favorite areas.

I absolutely does.
The quest line with the burned out inn just stops without a resolution, but as others have stated: It’s a slippery slope, once you change one zone you are free to change all of them.

Mine too. But a big reason is because ita empty i crank up the backround noise and kill and farm away relaxing :kissing_heart:

Dustwallow had a lot of quests added during Burning Crusade. (Including the conclusion of the Shady Rest Inn storyline.) That’s also when the Mudsprocket hub was added. Some additional changes were made in Cata, but it’s one of the zones that didn’t get as much attention in Cata.

Of course, Burning Crusade still isn’t vanilla.

Exactly.
