Duskwood - a new Discord Server!

Hi, Everyone! I feel like I’ve been spamming these forums a bit lately but here I am to do so a little bit more!

I’ve created a public discord server simply named “Duskwood” which aims to gather people with an interest in the zone and the RP we may be able to plan there. The server is brand new but hopefully a run down of its current channels will give you an idea what its general purpose is!

--------------DISCORD STRUCTURE--------------

General Chat
Self explanatory chat for idle talk!

Calendar
Invitations to public event or RP happenings that are either completely open to the public, or has limited spots, but spots that can be filled by anyone regardless of guild membership etc.

Calendar Submissions
A place to write things you want the admin to add to the calendar!

LF-RP
A channel to post requests for RP right then and there. Sitting alone in the tavern and hope someone else might be in the mood to hop IC? Post it here!

RP-Planning
Looking for some specific roles to be filled in a future event? Do you need some guards for your villains to run in to, or are you a a guard looking to set something up with some troublemakers? Post an “advertisement” here and see if anyone finds it interesting and reaches out!

--------------ROLES--------------
In terms of roles there are generic ones like Alliance, Horde, Neutral, Villain, Citizen, etc. If you belong to a Guild with a reoccuring interest or presence in Duskwood however then I’ll be happy to make a custom role with the Guild name!

For curiosity’s sake, what is the server’s thoughts on how the area should be RP’d? Noticing a lot of warlocks in this thread- is it being used as a “bad guy hideout”?

Duskwood has always sort of been a staple for spooky, scary types - the area has a lot of lore for warlocks, necromancers, cultists and just generally unscrupulous characters. It’s not necessarily a ‘bad guy hideout’ but Duskwood is a deep, dark and cursed forest, which can attract all manner of RP.

79 lovely members and counting! Server still growing and maturing but even now it’s turned in a good place to find and organize world RP <3 More people do feel encouraged to join!

Bump, the people are nice and there is AM/Afternoon and Evening Rpers are able to meet up.
