Duplicate Loot Items In Same Boss Drop

I took my 103 alliance paladin thru Karazhan last night hoping to get some new transmogs. I was disappointed that the Opera event, little red ridinghood, dropped two identical items, cloth pants. Later, the Curator boss dropped identical Paladin plate pants. At the end of the run, the final boss Prince whats-his-nuts dropped a 2H axe called Gorehowl and two identical daggers?!? I thought the Prince always dropped a tier helmet?

I used to run kara every week back in BC end game days and I don’t remember ever seeing duplicate items like this except like the Curator, where it used to drop token usable by 3-4 classes, it now auto converts the token into the item that formerly was traded by the token vendor in shat.

But seriously, that’s just how legacy loot works. Pretty sure there’s more of a chance of you getting what you want with it. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and get your mog and sometimes you won’t. :man_shrugging:

I was briefly caught off guard when I turned into little red ridinghood and had to run from the wolf a few seconds until i turned back into myself so I could kill the wolf :rofl:

Also, during Chess event, I was unable to start the event by taking control of the king, then it dawned on me that I was playing my Alliance paladin, and I sheepishly ran to the other side of the board and took control of the correct king :crazy_face: Medhiv cheated twice, I didn’t think that was possible before either…but I won any way :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
