I know that RNG is a joke in WoW, but this is a NEW LEVEL of waste of time
I ran 5 TW dungeons on my DK as I thought it may be nice to start playing him again, as he has just the 226 gear in all slots and a single 252 Item from last TW.
finish my 5, turn in for reward, and get the SAME 252 item that he already had…SMH
Log in on my Priest, Run 5 TW dungeons, and turn in for the reward, and AGAIN get the same 252 Staff he got LAST TW. With over 10 other slots that could have used an upgrade.
Fool me once, shame on you Fool me Twice, Shame on ME
How much longer until people just STOP playing as I don’t have a lot of time left to really play, and when it is ALL a waste, why bother to log anymore at all?
This happens to me far too often.
It feels really bad, especially with infrequent rewards like the TW cache. Would be nice if the TW reward worked like a mini vault with a few choices.
What I wonder is why anyone would stick around and complain about a game they don’t like. There are so many choices, and it’s a game, it’s suppose to be fun.
Of course there are a lot of people in any game that love to hate the game they are playing. I guess for them hating on the developers IS their fun.
But if that’s not you and you don’t like the game, move on.
Its not an unreasonable complaint. These events are time-limited and the 5 dungeon thing can only be done once per character each time. The devs should be able to create some sort of check to see what your character has received before and roll the dice for items outside that. It’s not like its a dungeon or a raid that you can run repeatedly, after all.
This is why I haven’t bothered with the timewalking caches anymore. 9/10 times I got a useless item, so it doesn’t feel worth my time anymore. Especially when I can do a single +2 in about 20 minutes and get a 252 in my vault. The 252 from the cache usually takes me like an hour. Time vs reward. Find the path of least resistance.
