Is this a thing for people? I’m sure people have duplicates of the same class but does anyone out there just play a specific class? I’m pretty sold on Hunter and I was thinking about leveling another before Shadowlands.

7 120 DKs across 3 accounts
6 120 Warriors too

Im a weirdo I have two same class for each side. In total 4 of them. It allows you to mix it up a bit. Sort compare and contrast idea.

Any reason you have that many or just enjoy the class that much? I’d assume it’s better chances at getting transmogs and some gear but idk beyond all that right?
I can understand wanting your main class on both factions if you play both factions.
Other than that there is zero reason to have more than one of a given class.
I fall under this category for a few classes…
Hunter - 3
Druid - 3
DK - 4
Priest - 3
DH - 2
Those are the classes I find complete enjoyment playing, and work on.
Once upon a time servers mattered, so people would have characters on more than one. Not really that big a deal anymore, and moving is pretty simple.

for instance I have 4 110 Dks and a 112
just a class I’ve been playing for so long
because of different racial druid forms, i now have six druid alts. normally i limit myself to one class on each faction, but i do have 2 DHs and DKs on each side
I have at least 2 of each class. Except for hunter (4) and DK (3).
I have two of every class, one horde, one alliance. Paladins I have 9, Death Knights 6.
I’m making multiple druids because they’re nice to farm with and run old raids with. I don’t know if it’s a good idea or not since they’re all on the same account & server, but oh well.
I have multiple classes in almost every one.
Hunters, 5 or 6, all have different themes of what they tame, mech pets for my mechagnome, fire pets for my DiD, diseased or undead for my undead, wolves for my mag’har etc etc…
3 monks, ww panda, brewmaster kt, brewmaster troll
3 DKs on alliance, 2 on horde
Either 1, 2 or 3 of the rest.
I just like variation, each character is a new adventure in my head with their own story, so leveling and questing is fun to me.

3 paladins all specs
I don’t know why I enjoy making more than one of the same class. Just something I like to do I suppose.
I don’t understand the reasons to play multiple alts of the same class. Can someone explain to me, please? I can understand rolling for different roles if your class can multi role but beyond that, I don’t understand it.
I am sure many ppl could come up with many reasons.
For instance, I have 2 level 120 horde druids and 2 level 120 dks on the same server. 1 of each class are OG and the other 2 were leveled for heritage armor and professions.
I have another horde druid on another server for heritage armor as well and an alliance one, too.
I have at least 1 of each class horde and 1 of each class alliance at level 120, and many others scattered about totalling 34 altogether.
I also raid mythic 5/12, progessing on the 6th boss on my main.

I have 8 druids, 4 on Ally & 4 on Horde. Has to do with loving all the racial forms & also, being 63 & legally blind, I can supply myself with H/Alch, H/Tailor (bandages), H/Mine, & M/Engineer (for fun, goblin gliders since we have to go over a YEAR without flying :(, & quick access to run old dungeons etc with vendor, repair, & mailbox at the ready).
Being limited in vision, I find druids to be the best for survival & achievement hunting!
Did I mention…forms? Racial forms, Mage Tower & Legion Forms, Firekitty from Fandral’s Seed Pouch… 
Also, raising a druid for H/Scribe on each faction to bring me soon to 10 druids…

Also looks like if we want to experience/obtain all the mogs etc in Covenants we may need 4 of each armor type or at least 4 of a class we enjoy.
Those doing top M+ etc content may also need duplicates to be at their best if they min/max in SL depending on what content they like to do 
I sure hope they make SL alt friendly because they may have made alts necessary for some players.
I’m leveling another rogue just to try and master sin a bitt. I’m still no good with openers.
