Duolingo for WoW?

My Shaman wants to learn Orcish. We seem to be able to understand NPCs well enough; I want to learn how to speak to PCs. Why is this still not a thing?

Cross language / faction stuff would let people cheat.

Elixir of tongues allows you to read what the other faction is saying.

Why should it be a thing?

I mean, in a fantasy game that takes place in the 1300s in Europe, NOT in modern America…

Human: “Okay, how do you say victory?”

Orc: “Lok’tar.”

Human: “Yeah, I knew that, heard it plenty of times. How do you say happy?”

Orc: “Lok’tar.”

Human: “Wait, it’s also lok’tar? Or did you misunderstand my question?”

Orc: “No. It’s lok’tar. Both of them are lok’tar. It’s context based, you know?”

Human: “Ah, I get it. Well, lets continue. How do you say I feel ill?”

Orc: “…Lok’tar.

Human: “Really?!”

Orc: “Look, I’m lok’tar, man, we Orcs just can’t lok’tar it, it’s just how lok’tar our lok’tar is, you lok’tar?”

Uhhh You know Blood Elves and Void Elves can talk to each other in Thalassian right? You switch the language bubble next to chat and done…I think Nightborne and Night Elves can too but idk anyone who plays a Nightborne xD
