No one is “forced” to join premade games. Some of the changes they’ve made, namely BGB and solo shuffle are there for people who want to get geared and not slog epics. Also box drops/bounties give conquest and bloody tokens/honor all the way to their respective caps rn so people can take advantage of that
yea, 50 games in. i’m 100% done with bg bliz until its capped to 1 healer per match and removal of quo due. arena was the worst garbage to happen to this game and the devs made bgs into an arena 8v8. I would rather invest in pvp on another title than put up with what we have. 2 healers bombing each other and trading cooldowns with 5 dps on them. Once all their cooldowns are exhaused and the cooldowns of 3 offensive dps lineup you get consent from the healer to return them to the graveyard with full mana. I wont suggest healing be nurfed, but i an 100% tired of being against 2 nearly at all times. would rather have an option of zero healers in bliz vs playing with how they are balanced. again. im checking out until its changed.
100% this, take it out the game
Your right! no one is forced to join, They can just choose not to participate. That said, it’s not bringing people to the gameplay mode and ultimately results in less participation and longer queues.
If your goal is keep things the same that is fine but once the initial burst of participation from season launch slows down frustrated players opting out will become more of a problem.
Either way this is clearly a stand off so have fun out there.
As a healer this format is hard to take seriously. Most groups play it like a random and don’t even play objectives. I’ve played over 100 blitz games now and my conclusion is the format is garbage.
The dou que is the only thing that will get me to play it because I can at least play it with a friend. This format is a failure as a rated format.
Duo que is the only reason you have fast ques for blitz, suck it up, let the healers bring their friends along
duo q is lame. Especially when the healer just turns into a pocket healer for their friend. it should of never been allowed. hard pass on blitz.
Personally don’t like it, but its whatever…
Should at least have it’s own rating tied to it imo. or you get lesser rating/honor/conquest per win.
A duo in an 8v8 isnt the reason you lost.
Skill issue.
I see this thrown around a lot but numerous times players have most likely been top of their game with damage, heals, objective play etc and still lose.
They are at the mercy of the RNG
Is there a single rank 1 player complaining about losing 15+ blitz games in a row at the bottom of the MMR?
This looks like bronze league LoL team blaming and excuse making. and everything that you’ve listed, for the most part, is superficial. The question is are they in the right spot at the right time carrying the game? Not just ‘trying’. Are they leading the game and keeping the team positive, or talking about how they’re on a 15 loss streak in the starting room to set the mood? Toxic behavior alone will completely torpedo your win rate.
This is the third season of Blitz.
Wouldn’t have any idea.
I dont think its what you say it is though.
I’ve lost 4 games in a row at 1300 - 1400 on my hunter and then won 5 at the 1600 rating.
If you typically are the most dmg done etc then you are more than likely carrying the team in some way.
I think throwing “skill issue” at any problem someone is having is incredibly short sighted.
This just isn’t true. A casual mode that was only out for a week at a time does not classify as a Rated PvP bracket.
It was a brawl continuously for 2 seasons. Not for a week at a time.
So are poker players.
Yet you still see the same faces at the big tournaments, because they learnt to pay what they are dealt.
Tell me, how long does a Brawl last. Durations in terms of days? Please explain. And explain how no high rated players cared to try hard and dominate a casual random bg mode version of it so you don’t get to see how certain things actually affect it in many ways.
You don’t understand the mode.
Battleground Blitz was available to play, continuously, for the entire 2 seasons.
It’s almost all I played for two seasons.
