Dungeons lockout, how it work in classic?

In retail I can clear the same dungeon 10 times in a 1h lockout, in the classic it is the same? Will a group be able to spam the same dungeon to get all the best loot they want?

in classic there wasnt a dungeon lockout

As long as it’s not a raid. You can leave a dungeon and reset it, go back in. There’s only 1 difficulty.

5-man dungeons didn’t have a lockout. You could finish them and then reset them.

Raids had lockouts that lasted 1, 3 and 7 days.

There was a time lock for an hour if i recall. Though i doubt you’d really get to it since dungi’s take longer i think it was an hour for 5 dungi’s.

You have 5 resets an hour. After that you will be locked out of any dungeon you try and enter.

Yeah some of the vanilla dungeons like ST you could get lost in there for over an hour. Or could take you nearly an hour to run to entrance from the last boss.

I’m about 99% certain this is correct. I know there was a limit added during vanilla because I ran into it while farming Hearthsinger Forresten via the Strat side entrance, but I don’t recall specifically if it was 5.

I am absolutely certain. after 5 you will not be able to enter dungeons. ANd it is a rolling Reset. meaning it is an hour after the first reset, hour after the second; so on and so forth. So in essence each reset starts an hour timer that will lock you out after the fifth timer starts.

what about dungeon quests? we get them from a quest chain or some has Npc inside that give you like in retail?

Blizzard changed it because of bots, there is a limit of 30 instances a day now… Blizzard better not start adding pointless rules and regulations in Classic because that’s what ruined PVP for me

yes, if you ran a dungeon repeatedly, and did it five times before the hour was up then it locked you out. for instance shadowfang keep or something fast like Scarlet monestary you could run 5 times in 50 minutes, you’d be locked out for the next 10 minutes.

Okay so i got my toon hes locked i swapped toons and hes locked to? Why are 2 locked when one never did a dungeon
