I wanted to start a discussion of a request. What are folks thoughts on Blizzard potentially adding a cross realm dungeon and raid finding tool for Classic ERA?
I’ve noticed while many non-RP servers were merged into one another, the RP only servers are in an odd spot. I thought initially it would be slow because folks are doing this and that on TBC Classic but its becoming very clear that these servers will be dead for a long while.
I know I could transfer but I would much rather request an existing system to fill a gap. I don’t know if this applies to other server types but I see some value if this were implemented.
I don’t want that considering I’m doing dungeons just fine. It’s the Raids that are taking the most time, to fill. I’d rather “suffer” waiting to fill for Raids than endure LFR in Classic. That’s me, though.
I disagree with that. We have been doing dungeons. I just Tanked BRD, yesterday.
That’s the Major Cities. If we’re doing dungeons, we’re not in the cities nor out in the world.
We’re 150+ membership and no, not all of us will be on all the time, but we still get things done.
I disagree with that. Sorry, that you don’t like the slow pace, but I do. I think BB Alliance is fine. We’re not Raiding, but we’re doing literally everything else. A handful of us can still clear out dungeons which is what we’re doing. I’m surprised that’s happening, at all, really.
Are we talking about the same part of the game and guild.
Discord only shows less than 50 total
I like the slow pace as I got to where I would only play Sat and Sunday nights. That works for me but its not going to be a thing for sure.
If you are running dungeons consistently with one group…due to this low population that means its less likely anyone else is running the many other dungeons. Raiding is a requirement for this to work because we’ve done everything else unless someone is brand new which…who are they playing with.
Just pointing out this is not going to work as is. Same seems to apply to other servers who are much more populated due to being merged.
Probably not. We should establish what we’re talking about here.
The Guild Disc is not reflective of the actual Guild Roster in the Game. Not everybody in the game Guild even uses Discord.
It’s no different than Raiding with the same Guild Members, every Week. I don’t see why dungeons are any different but even that has cycled.
I disagree with that because there’s so much more to Classic than just Raiding. I like being a part of my community.
There are newer levelers, and they have grouped with each other, as well, and I’ve helped them, along the way, with my Alts, as well.
And, I disagree. Part of getting a community, is to be a part of building it.
They may be more populated, but that doesn’t mean there’s an actual sense of community. The Standard Game may give the illusion of a population through their CRZ practices, Virtual/Connected/Sharding/whatever nonsense they try to apply, but I don’t feel a sense of belonging there, like I do in Classic.
There’s just not many on when I can play so maybe my time zone and all don’t align with when others play. I’ll see how things turn out as I’m not going anywhere but I do feel there needs to be a new way to do dungeons and raids with folks in Classic Era not limited to whose on our specific servers.
That is a fair point. Compatible times have always been an issue even if Servers are populated. My husband “suffers” the same, even in the Standard Game, with all its fancy equipment and the like.

Would it be as simple as not charging for the character copy…maybe limited to two per server or something?
As long as it is not automated i am OK with it, actually it is really good IMO , while leveling i used some addons that track the LFG channel, it was hard to keep an eye in the channel while questing with all the spam in the channel/chat… the addon search for keywords like LFG LFM LF1M and BRD, ST, BFD, RFC… it works with the data collected in the channel and put it in a window like the modern / tbc wow looking for group tool, the problem is that ppl mispelled names, dont follow a pattern while posting and the addon miss those entries.
An official tool would be way better and used by more people.
For the ones against it, please understand that this is not an automated tool , it is not Looking for Dungeon, Looking for Raid, this is Looking for Group… you will post that u looking for people/group in this window (like in LFG channel) , ppl apply or u apply to a group, the leader accept or not… the tool wont do nothing more than that, there is no auto invite, blizzard owned group or teleport to instance…
the only difference is that u use a window instead of a channel that a lot of ppl are talking about other stuff (non related to groups) and spamming.
I just keep putting the word out there out there that BB Alliance exists, and we’re not going, anywhere and hopefully people come here. I like being on an RP Server, and I like how we’re not “connected”. If Skeram Alliance can pull it off so can we. It’s only a matter of time.
I’m thankful that it’s not $35 like it was originally planned for. $15 is a better deal. Heck, maybe Blizz can offer a bundle price, too. $35 for 3 characters or something.
