I’m assuming the leveling experience is gonna be a lot faster in Prepatch/Shadowlands compared to how it is now even with full heirlooms + 100%exp bonus
Is it gonna be faster to level by dungeon spamming or by questing? I definitely don’t wanna spam dungeons again to 50.

Then don’t? Even if dungeons are faster…you don’t have to do that. Just pick an expansion that you haven’t done in a while and level there.

Blizzard have said that levelling will be 60-70% faster. And while heirloom exp buffs are gone in the prepatch, rested experience is buffed so for toons anyone wants to level up later, put all their heirlooms on and park them in a city till they get a full rested experience bar.
If you don’t wish to spam dungeons, don’t. Quest while you wait for queues and generally chill.
It doesn’t matter.
I have not tried it myself, but early reports are that leveling takes a few hours total. Doing it in a way you hate to save a few minutes of time makes no sense.
Also, if you’re a DPS, you’ll be waiting in queue for longer than it takes to get max level, so your only legitimate choice is quest.
Shout out to all you thirsty DPS who sit in queue all day to keep my time instant while leveling in dungeons. I’m still going to kick you if you can’t beat my tank dps though.

I don’t think Dungeon spam is faster than just questing nowadays. Even with a set group, and no breaks - you have to be pretty on your game to level fast in dungeon queues. At least at a level that it makes a significant difference from just questing.
Just quest. It’s a 1 day affair at most.
I’m pretty sure you can expect it to be as fast it was pre 7.3.5 heirloom nerfs/world scaling.
I’m staying in all the original zones, they have always been my favorite and probably always will be.

Altaholic here too. I was feeling kinda done until they showed off all the new customizations, now I have a list of alts I want to make. 
and they still won’t give us a prepatch date. I definitely want that streamlined leveling experience + new customization options hahaha
Dungeon spam is quite quicker at least until level 80. MoP quest density makes it a wash. Leveling queues for DPS are like 2 minutes right now. 15-60, A dungeon is 3 levels and Classic zones don’t have the quest density required to keep up. TBC/WotLK zones are downright awful.
Dungeon spam is fast. IF People know what they are doing.
Des has been saying 8-10 hours for regular players (4 hours for him 
) since alpha and he still stands by that now. I’m sure he will release a guide when SL launches but he, like most people, went to WoD as it is the superior leveling xpac.
If Blizz doesn’t nerf it that’s where everyone (who seeks speed above all else) will go.
This. Dungeons can be fast if the 4 other people (and you) are OG twink monsters. If you are dungeoning with new players then no it won’t be fast.

I understand that on the beta Shadowlands dungeons give next to no xp. I would hesitate to guess what the situation will be in the prepatch for existing dungeons.
I honestly don’t think this is accurate. Everyone’s saying questing is still the fastest way to level solo, unless you have 4 twinked out friends, on the right classes, you can insta-queue those dungeons with.
Mob density isn’t really a big deal when you’re just doing quests.
I’ve been leveling for 3 weeks straight now. It’s accurate. 15-60, questing is slow, quests are sparse, dungeons are fast. 60-80 questing is even slower. Questing picks up at 80.
