Dungeon queue won't pop on my main

Having issue where NO dungeon queue I sign up ever pops. At all. Even after hours of waiting in queue.

I queue’d for Legacy of Tyr and waited 2 hours and it never popped, despite there being a “4 minute” average queue time.

I swap to my Evoker (or ANY other character besides my main which is a feral cat druid) and queue for Legacy of Tyr, and it pops within 4 to 5 minutes every single time.

What is going on?

I’ve seen people of different classes complaining about the queuetime. Have you tried queuing on a tank to see if that is different?

I just tried queuing as a bear tank and it popped instantly…

I guess it’s just the DPS having a hard time, EXCEPT for Evoker dps.

Here’s what I see the problem as:

  1. Surge of new dps and healers with dracthyr
  2. Fewer tanks because tanks who switch to evokers are no longer tanking
  3. Fewer guardians because of how Blizzard mismanaged their talent tree and appeared to have abandoned their spec. Some have left the game, some have switched to another class to tank, some have stopped tanking and now will heal or dps.

It’s quite possible that evokers are prioritized in queue.

Edit to add: I have queued as a tank repeatedly. Queue was always instant. Most dungeons have dracthyr in them, some two. Dracthyr are being prioritized.

I’m having the same issue, even with shadowlands dungeons. So far it only happens on my Evoker

I think there’s an actual issue with the queues. I got into one right away yesterday. Then a DPS bailed. It should’ve been seconds to get a new DPS. Waited and waited, but none joined. Then looked at the queue - it said we had 1 tank, 0 healers, 2 DPS. There were 4 of us in the group yet - tank, healer, 2 DPS. I don’t know if there’s an actual problem or if it was just a glitch, but it seems that it could be related if the queue isn’t counting people/roles right.

Blizzard: PLEASE acknowledge that there is a serious issue!!!

I can tell you for sure, Evokers are not getting preference. All my toons, minus Evoker, are having normal que times. My Evoker has gone past 4 hours multiple times in the past 3 days without getting an invite.

Yea there is absolutely a serious queue problem that has gone unacknowledged.

Did your evoker turn in the dungeon quest? People say that the queues stopped popping when they did that.

I never did the quest. I looked at the content and the gear and I said “meh” and just started queuing. Tanks have insta queue.

If 1-3 out of every 5 players in every one of those dungeons is an evoker, that’s going to be one heck of a tank shortage next expansion.

I was in queue last night for 1.5 hours when it FINALLY popped on my feral druid main.

Then after I accepted, someone failed to accept and it went back to queue…for another 40 minutes. Popped again and I was able to run it.

This is just HEINOUS

Yes, I turned the quest in on my Evoker.

Definitely having the same issue. My brother and I are queuing DPS together, we’ll usually wait 2 hours and just give up because he has to log. Sometimes swapping toons and requeuing will get it to pop, but most nights we end up doing nothing because of this.

Also seeing wildly different times, avg always says 2-4 minutes, but he queued before me solo, I queued about 5 minutes later, I got an instant pop and he waited 45 minutes for same role. So why didn’t he get priority?

Exactly.

And it’s been total radio silence from blizzard.

This makes me want to cancel my account for the travesty that is Dragonflight coming up.

This is an issue NOW.

Imagine how it’s going to be on release.

I’ve been having this issue for the last 2 days. Hours in queue and nothing. Blizzard please fix this

It’s like they don’t GAF.

4 hours in queue. no pop.

NO excuse.

Update:

1 minute in queue average time.

in queue tonight 2.5 hours.

Same problem here, multiple characters. I haven’t seen a dungeon queue pop since my first and only run of Tyr in pre-release. Blizz needs to acknowledge!!
