This didn’t work for me on mage and warlock as no role swap.
I’ve been experiencing this issue as well. I even tested it out by me queuing as a DPS. After about 30 minutes sitting in queue, I asked a fellow guild mate to queue DPS. After about 4 minutes, his queue popped.
We were both individually queued just as DPS ( I was on my hunter he was on a rogue) so no change of also selecting a tank or heal spec.
I waited an additional 15 minutes and dropped queue, switched characters to a DK, queued, and in about 4 or 5 mins queue popped. So it appears to be character specific and I recall having this same issue on that specific hunter in Dragonflight as well.
Super annoying but after running the dungeon the DK, i logged out and back in to the Hunter and queued and queue popped fairly quickly (around the average wait time).
i am having this exact same issue on only certain toons i have, i try to queue, average wait is under 5 mins apparently, and queue wont pop EVER. Have switched toons and queue has popped in minutes
