Dungeon finder, out of touch with the community

Not at all.

If they linked all the servers like that I wouldnt see a need for LFD at all but yeah sure LFD would make things hella easy if that were the case. However, given their stance on LFD and their comments about potential dual spec restrictions it would seem like making things super easy isnt what theyre about in regard to Wrath classic.

It is a 3.3.5 wrath system and we are going to be playing 3.3.5 wrath. You want wrath system removed? Maybe stay in TBC kid

Gatekeeping is what killed WoW.

Unless you have a time machine, you are going to be playing 3.3.5 wrath classic.

Y’all never stop. Beg and plead for classic. Get it. Then never stop crying for the creature comforts that vanilla never had. …

Just log in to retail and go hang out in Outland.

You can’t rely on your guildies to help you every day. They got their own life.

Can you give us a list of other Wrath features you’d like removed? We can send it right up the chain for blizzard to work on right away

Games aren’t designed around people’s lives

Except Wrath of the Lich King had Looking for Dungeon. The anti-LFD people are also forgetting that people formed groups for specific heroics, and that heroics still have a daily lockout outside of random heroics in the LFD.

No, you were on the right path. Its more than just that obviously but pushing the accessibility envelope too far has drawbacks if you dont know where to draw the line.

Accessibility is what made WoW the success it ultimately would become but it just became too much of a good thing.

The only people who think this have no life outside of playing games.

They don’t work around my work or workout schedule.

they listened to the 1% and it will cost them money there is no point to buy a boost when classic wrath will be a dead raid log game shortly after launch with no lfd.

one of my fondest memories was using the dungeon finder in Wrath back in the day. It was the first time I ever did dungeons. I was so looking forward to Wrath Classic for this reason, not the only reason but the main one. I am so disappointed in this decision. I stopped playing Classic Vanilla and TBC classic because its so hard to find groups…

Why is it a problem though?!?

I don’t really have an answer because I don’t care what other people are doing with their time in game as long as they are not hurting others (scamming, abusive/manipulative behaviors or slurs in public channels, etc). Players seeing content that I cannot or will not make time for isn’t what’s meant by “hurting”. Pitting segments of players against one another either pve v pvp or casual v hardcore (and I don’t mean the death/delete people but rather the crowd called out as “sweats” or “meta”) is what I feel has accelerated the decline of the game as far as the social aspect is concerned.

Dungeon finder is not the problem.

The important thing to note is that I am not the boss of you.

It’s not. Originally they said dungeon finder was the reason why the community aspect of the game was lost. I was one of these people that agreed with that. After playing classic and TBC that’s just not the case. It was a whole different game for that time period.

Another case was well maybe you don’t want someone random in your group. Well spamming in trade chat you’ll still likely just get someone random. If you have friends then you won’t have to find someone random. It’s the same outcome in either system.

I think LFR was a bad choice to add to the game in cata but Dungeon Finder I think is fine. I really hope they add it back in.

If they don’t I hope they at least add dungeon finder for levels 15-70. I would be more likely to level alts and keep playing if I can break up the questing by just queuing for dungeons.
