As recently as yesterday, many of the dungeons in the Group Finder are now unavailable to me to queue for and aren’t listed anymore despite meeting the minimum level requirement.
- Several characters in other realms have the same issue.
- Only a handful of characters are unaffected.
- New characters created appear to have the issue (for example; fresh level 10 Allied Race toons do not have Wailing Caverns and Shadowfang Keep available from the Cataclysm timeline)
- I’m still able to enter the dungeons from the overworld solo
- Random Queue does not place me in the missing dungeons
What I’ve done so far:
- Swapping timelines did not work
- Queuing for other activities and quitting queue did not work
- Deleting the Blizzard cache did not work
- Disabling Addons did not work
- Reloading the UI did not work
- Scanning and Repairing from the Battlenet launcher did not work
- Reinstalling the game did not work

I too want to agree with this problem. MOST of my characters I disable xp and Chromie Time so I can actually play the game. Go figure, I don’t just want to blitz to level 70 in one afternoon of playing and do the last expansion.
There is a TON of good content in this game that creators have spent thousands of hours developing and it seems insulting to them to throw out that old content just because new content comes out.
Dungeons are the biggest flaw in the current system. In this case, this toon is level 56, XP turned off, and chromie time playing Mists of Panda. I am going through all the story lines and building rep so I can buy a specific mount. Well I would like to do the dungeons in this area, but currently the dungeon finder has 1, “Temple of the Jade Serpent”. I have quest for “Shado Pan Monastery” and I can’t do it because it is not an option to select from. Dungeons should be open to all regardless of level.
You clearly have the ability to scale people down, the timehopping ones do that all the time. Why is that not a default option all the time. Every expansion, every dungeon, every raid. Scaled down appropriately.
So yeah, I’ll shut up now, but I am not happy with dungeon finder either. It is not listing anything that I should be able to do.
According to WoWHead’s Chromie Time Guide, this isn’t a bug. These 2 dungeons aren’t offered in the Chromie Time lineup for Cataclysm.
I’m having the same issue. Was hoping to stop a character’s experience points at level 60 so I would have access to all dungeons from previous expansions, but I’m level 54 now and dungeons from multiple timelines have seemingly disappeared completely from the dungeon finder
