Dungeon difficulty levels

what are the names of the difficulty levels in wrath classic compared to dungeons in retail?

Mythic in retail is called titan in wrath.

With 2 levels, for now. Alpha and Beta.

We’ll call alpha m0. Beta, think m1 to 5. Real loosely.

so the only difference between rdf in retail and rdf in wrath classic is being able to queue for mythics which i can’t do in retail w/o using the premade group finder?

Technically we don’t know yet.

RDF comes in ICC release. But we don’t know how its coming. Its not on ICC ptr for wrath that I know of yet. It comes later iirc.

The comparison to Mythics is superficial. For one, titan runes don’t have a timer. They also don’t scale infinitely, and each dungeon (or more accurately, pair of dungeons) has their own “affix”, rather than having the same set for every dungeon that changes every week

In any case, you’ve got your standard heroics, titan rune alphas, titan rune betas, and titan rune gammas to come with the ICC patch. Although more realistically we might as well only have betas because there’s literally no reason to do the lower difficulties - the gear from standard heroics is completely worthless, and alphas despite being a lower tier are (allegedly, I haven’t done a single alpha myself) harder than betas

They’ve announced RDF will include all versions of H+ including gamma.

The big difference is M+ scales pretty much indefinitely in retail but H+ caps out pretty low so it’s easy to fit it into RDF.

I missed that memo it seems.

well then…that is interesting.
