Queued for a H dungeon and my latency spiked about 10min later.
Finally got a group and let everyone know I was having a latency issue and that if I dc I will get right back on.
Get kicked 5min later and get DD.

Why even accept the queue if you are lagging. And no it isn’t a result of that, you still would have gotten DD with the old system.
If you were kicked before the first boss, then you would have got it with the old system as well. If you were kicked after the first boss, then yes, it is the new system working as intended.
You can always use the time to go do something else, or to level and alt. I’m sorry you were lagging, and as bad as it sounds it’s better to not announce that to the group, because you never know if they’ll kick you or not
