Hey all,
I got the dungeon deserter debuff after leaving when we killed the first boss in UM (I had killed the 2nd boss in a previous LFR).
Not a bug. Leaving queued dungeons/raids before completion is a desertion.

This was changed early in TWW. While those articles are mainly about dungeons, LFR has the same restrictions. Leaving a dungeon/raid for any reason at all will get you the debuff on that character.
