I joined a TW dungeon today to level my shaman, after the first couple of pulls, there were zero issue, healing the tank as normal, all of a sudden, I was removed from the group with 30 mins dungeon deserter. I whispered the tank since he was the only person that talked and said he will do a few more after this run, asked if someone kicked me for no reason, he didn’t answer. Some of them must joined as a group and just randomly kicking ppl for laughs cuz the system will give them a replacement quickly anyway they have zero punishment for such actions.

This is yet another nth example of why the new deserter debuff changes were stupid. At least with the old system, you wouldn’t get hit with the debuff if you downed at least one boss.
There was no reason to change the preexisting way the deserter debuff worked.

Their actions are causing a major disruption of game play, 30 mins dungeon ban, and there are zero consequences to these abusers.

Dude , I HATE pvp. I would be the first to say somebody hosed you, but I think there is a damage timer now.
if you stand there and heal and don’t chain lightning once in a while BAM you get deserter debuff.
I do not think you get credit for top heals either and wow HATES horde heals , so the bar is probably pretty low.
I mean it was a classic timewalking leveling dungeon, we were barely into the 2-3rd trash pull, one dps left before I got kicked, so now I think he got kicked too, by the other 3…
oh you are talking dungeon not pvp, if you are a healer and weren’t dpsing in between major heal cycles, that could be why they kicked you.
But it could also be kids leading the group with nothing better to do except hand out debuffs.
I only ever kicked a healer for being afk , and we gave him a solid 10 minutes to answer the phone or let the dogs out before we kicked him.

It’s pretty gratifying when I get a piece of the puzzle that the people making these threads are the same handful of people.
Coincidence that the OP and this OP both say this debuff is a “ban?” I think not.

Conclusion: Tuydyt, Spellhaus and Bloodthunder are the person. I know their Armory doesn’t match but there’s an in game option to prevent them from matching. All three also have 10 or less posts and the majority of those posts are from “dungeon deserter” complaint threads.

Do you come in and say the same thing to anyone’s post? What is your point, let me answer that you don’t have one. I reported the DK tank in game so if a GM wants to verify if what I have described is 100% true feel free! To answer the Vulpera’s comment, the dungeon literally just started, 2nd or 3rd trash pack in, it was that dungeon we use to chase that imp around? Ya we havnt even made the first turn yet. So it was 2-3 mins in? No one talked but the tank saying he will run more after this one. One dps left on first pull. Either it was a bug, which game is game is full of, because I didn’t see a vote to kick that first person who left, or the other ppl just randomly kicking ppl. I leveled my shaman via TW from 10-45 and it has never happened till now.

Do you have any proof? Because that would completely undermine the point of that option.
Besides the only option being achievement related, and pet lineups/collections being account-wide?

I’m still suspicious. I still don’t think it’s a coincidence that there’s two people running around this forum calling the dungeon deserter buff a “ban.” I have never seen someone refer to this debuff that way.

being kicked from a dungeon does not give grounds of reporting players
and there is more to this story we need to hear from both sides

Nobody is queuing with their friends for the sole purpose of kicking a random person in the group.
If you have been kicked it’s because you did something to annoy a majority of the group members.

Not on purpose like “let’s join so we can kick people”, but it very much happens to be “I don’t like this guy, let’s kick him cos we can”.
