Dump tailoring?

I made Robes of the Archmage. Is there any reason for me to keep tailoring or should i get a gathering profession? Thank you for any tips. Im also an enchanter.

not really unless you plan on farming mats and selling gear. argent dawn and hydraxian waterlords rep has all of the frost resist gear… as well as some other nice epics you can make which are BoE…

but if your not going to do rep for the good patterns… you are better off doing gathering

Nothing better in tailoring for a mage than that pre Raid (phase 4 is when it changes I believe). Unless you are going to try to make money selling bags, I would suggest mining/engineering.

You need engineer on all classes, its a must for PvP/PvE. Mining is great for getting your own mats and you can still sell the leftovers.

I would make some 14 slot bags before you dump it. Use them in your bank and for a future alt.

No, you need tailoring when ZG comes out for the set bonus on I forget wtf they’re called.

Bloodvine. You dont NEED the set bonus, but it is nice

Well yeah, it’s more useful than not

you can also consistently make money on Mooncloth bags.

or the 18-slotters if you get the pattern. It isn’t “big bank” money but its consistent and not small.

I really wish you hadn’t posted this thread: desire to dump tailoring rising.

Engineering is fun to level with. Target dummies saving me repair gold.

My guildy is making a killing with it but gotta farm the rare patterns (Robe of Winter Night, Felcloth Gloves, Gloves of Spell Mastery etc.).

You can make a ton of money with any professions right now if you’re smart about it, hell been making most of mine using Elemental Leatherworking of all things.

Only keep if you want to craft the bloodvine set when ZG is out.
