Dude I just wanna do a simple turtle quest…after flying for 10 minutes, I landed in a spot where two raids of alliance player are waiting. Is this intended? Now i cannot even respawn
Laughs in Alliance
Since you seem simple I’ll make the instructions easy.
Take res sickness from the spirit healer.
Go to the nearest inn/ rested area.
Turn off warmode.
Go do turtle quest.
Keep war mode off.
I got mine done in Hordemode.
Died while doing it, but it’s done.
No solado.
There was a massive horde raid group in Voldun yesterday but no one QQed on the forums.
Laughs in scrub.
Laughs in ugly irl.
Fixed it for ya doll!
Post on your main Hordie.
To afraid to post on your main?
Two different replies from the both of you on two separate threads - cute !
Sorry to disappoint boys and girls, this is my main :((((((((((((((
God, I literally log off and watch el clasico… after the whole game i log back and the alliance raid is still there lol… damn i guess this is exactly the intention of the system
Where is this at? In Voldun?
I am Disappointed =/
/doubt.

The one i found was in Voldun, by my estimate there were between 9-11 alliance, with 2 of them being UH DK’s since counting people was a little difficult, tho there might have been more, but for sure there was 2 UH DK’s, a prot pala, 3 DH, 1 WL, 1 frost mage, and 1 ret. Died on landing, rez’d did quest then glidered out of there.
Ooo. I’ll have to wipe them in a bit
I’m shocked this ̶k̶i̶n̶d̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶b̶e̶h̶a̶v̶i̶o̶r̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶h̶a̶p̶p̶e̶n̶i̶n̶g̶ players are still whining about this.
Both sides have pvers that resort to zerging when forced to pvp. They exist on every faction in every game that has actual pvp.
That said, there isn’t much incentive for these types of players to turn warmode on for horde while there is for alliance.
I’ve completed turtles on my three alliance 120s (so 9 turtle WQs done) and this is what I’ve seen so far:
6-7 horde camping turtle in Vol’dun at temple (was easy to get that done on my hunter due to glider and aspect of the turtle). (just once)
15ish alliance camping turtle in Vol’dun at temple. (just once)
Easily 20+ alliance camping turtle in Drustvar. (all three characters)
Other turtle WQs weren’t being camped for me.
Will see how it goes as horde. I suspect that I will have to turn off warmode to get some of my horde done.
It’s not a raid. It’s just a lot of solo or small grouped alliance that have finished that turtle WQ and hang out there due to them having numbers at that location (easy kills). They will stay there for over an hour hoping to complete the 25 kills a few horde at a time.
The same thing happens at the invasion world quests when alliance has the bonus. They aren’t raids. Alliance has a huge incentive to camp shared area invasion world quests that they have already completed. Horde has zero incentive to hang around an invasion world quest they have completed, so they move on.
This naturally leads to alliance having 20+ players hanging around invasion world quests killing the handful of horde that come in to try to get it done.
Just flew into Vol’dun temple on my horde druid. It was being camped by 20+ alliance, got away easily and killed a warrior that chased because zerglings are almost always terrible players (when they aren’t overwhelming you with numbers).
Drustvar turtle being camped by around 15 alliance.
No point checking the other horde, those two turtle quests will have a high probability of being camped by alliance.
You chose the wrong faction comrade
