I’m going to have to give up on the Moonkin. The reason? At random times during a battle, or even shopping for new shoes, my character shifts out of Moonkin form into the Worgen, or the Travel Form, or sometimes the Cat. At first I thought that keys common to all forms were the problem so I removed all those spells from the non-Moonkin cast bars. Unfortunately you can’t seem to do that with Starsurge and use of that spell during a battle seems to be one of the main, if not the only, reasons for the shift.
It goes to say that this is incredibly frustrating. At Level 321 my dps is best described as laughable, but suddenly being shifted out of Moonkin at random times during a battle makes it just ludicrous, especially given all of the neat, glaring, obscuring spell effects the devs revel in that make it hard to notice.
If it happened every time it would be an identifiable bug, and even the somnolent
drones that make up the staff that is supposed to monitor things like this would probably take notice. But the fact that it’s intermittent, and that other posts have commented on it, make me think that no one at Blizz gives a fat rat’s patootie.
I wanted another ranged class to balance my melee peeps but Moonkin is just broken.

I have never shifted out of form accidently that didnt coincide with me fat fingering it. Do you possibly have a key bind that may be causing it when using a push to talk key bind or something?
As for your form you could create a weak aura or a tell me when icon that tells you when not in moonkin form while in combat to make it noticeable.
Also, everyone’s dps at 321 is laughable…

There’s definitely some kind of bug shape shifting out of travel form, especially in water. But I haven’t experienced anything in moonkin form honestly-
If you’re in stag form and go into water if auto shifts you to water travel form.
No I mean: Being in water and randomly shifting OUT of water travel form, back into humanoid form in the middle of swimming. There was a separate thread on here about it not too long ago. I don’t think I was the only one experiencing that.

I have noticed at times that my spell bar loses all of its spells except for 2. However, what’s weird is that I can still push my buttons to get those missing spells to work. They just aren’t on my spell bar. I wasn’t sure if this was an add-on causing this or what, but the issue described by OP makes me feel it may be related to the class.
Edit, I’m talking about my druid, not my warlock
resto affinity if you use the heals from it it shifts you out of form maybe your hitting rejuv and wildgrowth with swiftmend?
It’s a reasonable question but I have no keybinds. It always happens in fights and it most often happens with Starsurge, so maybe that spell has some interaction with other things. Starsurge is the only spell that I can’t remove from the travel form and noform without removing it from Moonkin, regardless of what slot I put Starsurge into.

Trinkets will some times take me out of moonkin. Extremely annoying.
This is totally annoying when it happens. I end up getting shifted to a non-existent toolbar with no spells on it, so I’m helpless until I can get back to a real toolbar.
