I didn’t change anything, but as of like 2 weeks ago, when I join my raid group my Elvui raid frames moved like 2 inches right, so that it’s covering my toon. When I enter the actual raid I get a LUA error, but the frames move to the right. I have no clue what’s going on because I haven’t changed anything. Has anyone ever seen anything like that?
I run elvui and haven’t experienced frames randomly moving. I have lua errors set to not show though.
Have you tried disabling all your other addons? Elvui has a bunch of singular addons all bundled into one so there could be some conflict between addons and not even just a frames addon but bars or something simple like a map addon.
Okay thank you. I’ll try to drop all but Elvui, then slowly add them back if it’s back to normal to see what’s the issue. I googled it and found something similar, but it was from years ago. Same thing. Bars to the right covering my toon, go in raid and they go back to the correct spot. Someone suggested going to Smart Raid Frames and disabling it, but I can’t find that option. Do you have any idea where it could be? I can’t find it in UnitFrames.
I am at work so I couldn’t tell you off the top of my head, if I remember when I get home I will have a look through.
I think I might know what’s happening though, in the toggle anchors (the elvui edit mode) has multiple windows for raids.
Ie a 20 man and 40 man seperate raid frames. You might have a setting enabled that swaps from one or the other. Try moving both of the raid windows to the same spot.
I have the “normal” raid frames, i think it’s up to 20 players raid frames where I want them and the 40 man way off to the side for world bosses and what not.
Keep an eye out if the problem happens all the time or just when there is more than 20 players which would cause elvui to flip to the 40 man raid frames.
