Hey Friends!
I just downloaded an HEVC formatting do-hicky for .99 cents from the App Store. I bought it thinking I can now watch dvd’s on my stand alone player.
Am I wrong about that?

you could have just gotten VLC instead for free, and plays every format you care about (and a good many that you don’t)
