The quest Elemental Core, randomly dropping from Island Expeditions, would send the players to the tip of the zone Azshara, finding the friendly Elemental Hydraxis and giving him the item in exchange for Azerite. I’ve done the quest before on other characters, but when I recently flew back out to his location in Azshara, he was nowhere to be found. This happened in 8.2.5, and I decided to try finding him again in 8.3, but he is still absent and missing.

Yes I spent 2 hours tonight looking for him to start the questchain to ultimately summon ragnaros. Two hours of my life wasted.
I also just did the same for the same reason and came up empty handed. Is summoning Ragnaros in the Molten Core something we will never be able to do since Duke Hydraxis isn’t there anymore to get the questline? The map is also different.
