So I randomly came across an area in Ohn’Ahren Plains in the north located east of Nokhudon Hold where you can find Dubious Ducks, Feather Ruffling Ducks, and a Mother Duck that all become ridable when you get them to 30-40% HP. Once mounted, they have unique abilities, and you can fight on them as normal using abilities and everything. You also get a buff called ‘Covered in Feathers’ which gives you a 100% movement speed and 30% haste boost.
So does anyone have any idea what this is for? A WQ I just haven’t seen yet? It doesn’t flag you for PvP or anything like that area in Stormheim, so I’m just kinda confused.
…and intrigued. Ducks are awesome.

It’s for a PVP WQ that’s only visible with War Mode on.
You progress by either subduing the ducks and/or killing players.
Ohhhh. Man, that’s almost worth turning on War Mode just to fight on ducks.

It is indeed fun throwing other players off the nearby cliff using a duck power.
I got tour of duty there earlier today AND horde slayer…
but then found out that horde slayer is broken and unobtainable right now.

Yup. Same for Alliance Slayer. Quest completed, no title. Google to find out that it isn’t being awarded atm. Nice.
Admittedly I got it on my rogue while farming at Cobalt Assembly so me randomly one shotting Alliance via Blade Flurry probably didn’t really warrant earning the title anyway.

Nah, it’s more like the zone in stormheim. You mount ducks and then you fight while on them like normal. They just give you a speed / haste buff and each has a unique ability like a leap or a knockback.
