Looking at the available races in WoW, Alliance has one unique furry race, Worgen, while Horde has both Vulpera and Tauren. Therefore Alliance should get a new duck allied race, give them winged arms like Moonkin, and a slow fall racial like flap. Druid would be available with the feral form being a theropod but with a beak of course, travel form could be a spinosaurus type deal for both aquatic and land, and an actual duck for flight form. Standard classes available of course. So paladin would be just your average horse from another world.
OR. Or, they could be on the continent that the Arathi are on, fighting a war against the racist prejudiced genocidal Arathi Empire. Either way it would be amazing. I have two Vulpera and on whenever I’m playing them I can’t stop looking at their tails swish around when they’re running, we could have the same but for ducks with their fanned tails. The emotes could have various levels of tail coverage, similar to when a peacock has their tail feathers either retracted or extended.

I have a friend who’s whole RP thing is that they are a Duck Paladin.
The Duck toy you get for the holiday event lets you change into one, and via other toys and items, you can extend the duration quite a lot.
One of the main appeals is the fact that the duck model is FULLY ANIMATED, unlike many other models in the game. It has everything from attack animations to singing animations.
Believe me, when Meepy pops wings and comes tearing across the bg – this little duckling all a-glow in righteous holy fury – folks whom have previously encountered this troublesome duck know to get out of the way if they don’t want to die.

Look at how they portrayed the Vulpera. Nothing against the Vulpera, but when they created them they leaned pretty heavily in the Disney side of the cartoonish spectrum for them.
Now apply that to ducks.
You would get an off brand Donald Duck race.
Which is Howard the Duck. You would get a Howard the Duck race.
This is what you would get.

I’ll see if I can find examples but I’m thinking like a cool, handsome duck race, like the highborne Arrakoa but more regal and not emaciated with stick legs. Theropod type ducks.
I think you’ll find the only race for furries is Vulpera. Alliance side deviants have gnome. Not a furry race.
Worgen are pure and perfect race along with Elves. You can google it. There’s even some great fan made videos on Worgen and Elf relations and how they work together to preserve nature from all evil.

The duck is the druid shapeshift form for gnome travel form, aquatic form, flight form, and balance spec.
First thing that came to my mind: Howard the Duck and his homeworld.
Those feet are nightmarish.
Yeah it’s crazy how they managed to do that because duck feet are actually pretty good looking. One of the better on an animal.
