Sorry, I’m to busy making gold by just PLAYING the game to understand how people are broke because they don’t play the game.
I don’t typically do any mob farming of anything like that, I join groups and help people. And just the random drops I get from doing that is plenty of gold to not need to farm mobs most of the time.

Nice argument. It goes very well with your argument that “so my friends would tank heroic if they had dual spec” what you forgot to leave here is that they would tank heroics FOR YOU, not for everyone. That does not RESOLVE the tank shortage, it didn’t resolve the tank shortage on WoTLK. Not even to mention that there was a new tanking class on WoTLK that could tank with any spec, and generally didn’t had to re-spec at all.
They even added the loot bag for tank role on LFD later to improve it.
Accept: tank will always be short because no one wants to play it. Dual spec does not resolve this problem, what helps is cross-realm LFD like existed in WoTLK, or… have your tank to help you with dungeons.

There is just one fact that cannot be changed:
Dual spec does not resolve any problem we currently have in the game, as much as people try to create a scenario where it does, it doesn’t.
Dual spec would quite clearly encourage more tanking of heroics. Many people have said that, including people in this thread who, despite your fantasy levels of thinking, are not all my alts.
Your argument against this is “UMMM ERRR YOU CAN TANK AS ARMS!!!” Sure, you can, it’s completely miserable for both the tank and the rest of their group though unless you vastly outgear the content. But no one wants to do that. Terrible counterargument.
