So anyone else wish we had a dps spec that was dw or is it just me. I would love to see dw dps come to paladins but not as ret I do not want what is happening to Frost DK’s happening to us. Maybe a 4th spec called Zelot or something.

Well at the end of bfa IIRC there was a short scene that shows Lady Liadrin(the Blood Elf Paladin Leader) and she was dw. She had a sword on each hip.
Also a lot of paladins were warriors that found the light. Warriors can dw.
And some call us holy warriors. Again it is just me but if blizzard can make up a lot of artifact weapons that did not exist until legion then why cant Paladins dw?

We do not need a 4th spec, literally can’t balance the 3 we have, no no no.
Ranged holy dps in priority for me, and then after that I would probably would love to see a Spellbreaker spec.
No, dual-wielding Paladin sounds…out of place and goofy tbh…
But, being able to wield a 2-hander and a shield would be cool.
Would be cool and thematic if Ret was the “defensive” Dps spec that is able at least pull the shield out for some temporary defensiveness, like a cooldown or a few abilities, but otherwise the shield is on your back.

If they already can’t balance three, adding another wouldn’t change anything.

Probably true lol, but it would just hurt Ret even more, why bring a melee DPS Paladin when you could bring a ranged. I also don’t think it fits the Paladin class very well either.
I can see it from your prospective but I also can see a paladin getting pissed and grabbing 2 swords and just ripping people a new one in a rage. This is how i imagine the spec to be just a pissed off paladin not caring and using two weapons.

I really wanted Seraphim to give, at least Ret, a Holy 2hander and a Shield which allowed them to hit a beefy Shield of the Righteous instead of TV when Seraphim was up.
