Dual Talent Specialization for Next Patch on WoW Classic Era, PLEASE!

I dont need a reason to go out in the world. I will be out in the world. =)

Like I said. I dont have an issue farming the gold needed to respec twice a week. But, it gets annoying fast and 50g is just a bit much… at least half its cost. =)

No because classic is all about having your free time wasted by doing mundane tasks to circumvent poor design choices made in 2004.

Your best bet is just having two characters of the same class with different specs.

And yet people are fleeing wrath in droves due to all the changes. The hard RPG elements of vanilla are what make it a superior game to any other version of wow. If you favor convenience you can always just play wotlk+++++ or the bud light dragons.

This is thread is really a case of ‘you think you do but you don’t’.

I think it’s a pretty good idea.

Until you realize that the slippery slope of changes (see wotlk+++) just leads to another failed retail. How many retail versions of wow do we need? There needs to be at least one classic version that’s as untainted as possible.

Retail hasn’t failed, it’s actually pretty popular and quite fun… but it’s always the slippery slope argument with y’all, “omg they added something, now they’re gonna add everything else from retail!”

Keep one server with the base version and give dual spec as a test on SOM, it’ll work well.

Yeah that’s why you’re here in the classic forum rofl

This is acceptable though. Give all the changes to SOM.

I can’t enjoy both versions of the game? What is with you classic only people? Yea, I like retail more… but I am stoked for SOM.

Yea and we’ll see how big SOM becomes and if it proves to be a major success… you know good and well, they’ll think about pushing those changes onto era.

First they ask for dual spec, then they support transmog, after that they want new class/race combos, then they wonder why era is retail.

No no no. No changes that reduce decisions within the game should ever be implemented.

No. You asked for Classic. Now you got it.

Retail has more players than Classic does though.

Sure you can, they are available to play right now. Have at it.

Nothing. We like having versions, but you want only one option. You want all versions to have retail in them, that leaves true RPG enjoyers with nothing. You’re like the little kid who piles all the toys in the corner and sits on them so no one else can play.
Keep your changes is seasonal where they belong.

Honestly I hope blizzard starts making more awful changes so the last bit of nostalgia keeping me supporting their crappy company dies and I can delete battlenet forever. Make it happen Aggrend, set me free bro

Only cuz Classic is ran super poorly. They release the games in latest possible patch, makes multiple changes to them, rush them thru, add features that were not there in the original, delete toons with no warning and refuse to restore, and they do not advertise for it at all so no new players are going to want to go in and play.

Kinda like how Raid Shadowlegends came out just a few years ago, they advertised nonstop spam. Just a few months ago they had 40 million players, now they have 62 million players. If Blizzard would have advertised we could have had a few million people in Classic and it wouldnt be so dead.

Is that what I stated or what you are assuming?

Also dual spec is not retail. WOTLK is not retail, no matter how much you think it may be. Also, I stated it would be a good idea, I’d like to hear your reasons on why it’s a bad idea… I don’t wanna hear the bogus prediction non-sense with a slippery slope either, that’s purely guess work.

Good thing you aren’t in charge of anything with childish remarks like these, go right to attack mode eh?

Absolutely not. Go play wrath if you want qol changes. Leave Era alone.

It is a feature from the second expansion and doesn’t belong in Era. You have the feature in Wrath and retail, enjoy it there.

Hit too close to home eh? The comment didn’t call you a child, it’s was implying you are selfish. This is true because you want to take away the closest thing we have to Vanilla by adding features from later expansions. This leaves nothing for those who want that experience, when you already have that available in two other modes of the game.
So yes, you are being like that child I described.

I’m not fighting for it you low IQ :troll: I just stated it’d be a good idea.

Stopped there, you’re just gonna make a fool of yourself further, have a good day bud…

Wrath is basically a bad version of retail with half the features missing. By the time the game gets to wrath all of the old school rpg vibes are completely gutted. Honestly cata classic will probably be better than wrath, at least it’ll have some of those systems like transmog and dungeon finder
