it should be up in p2 as shaman dps i was forced to go Tank because taanks gone now i cant grind litery im forced to make a alt just because im a turtle no fun
Dual spec is an objectively great improvement to WoW in all forms.
Game feels trash without it.
I would wager that the vast majority want dual spec, or at the very least are indifferent.
The amount that actively dont want it, is probably sub 10%
as dps i didn’t miss dual spec but my guild needed tanks so i changed problem now im a turtle cant farm cant do nothing solo , all i can do is tag mobs funny ah ? I’m forced to log out and play another character
How can you not farm? Did you just go pure 37 year old mitigation boomer or something?
Would love dual spec for P2.
Love to tank PvE content & would very much enjoy Mortal Strike next phase as well!
Honestly, this isn’t really a thing in Classic. With runes, you have a bit more freedom, but you certainly don’t need to respec to tank.
I played classic 2019 and respecced at least twice a week. Doing PVP with a PVE spec is unfun. Doing PVE with a PVP spec is unfun.
Not to mention people tanking and healing dungeons.
pls give.
I would rather they just keep respecs cheaper so respeccing isnt a huge financial loss.
If they do duel spec, it needs to be restricted with a CD. An unrestricted duel spec would create a meta where people are forced to maintain 2 different raid specs to change up based on what’s more convenient for a particular boss fight. This would be awful for the game and take away a major rpg aspect.
I knew I was special
Dual Spec destroys character identity by removing tough choices
They already said they would during BlizzCon. I hope it comes in P2.
Dual Spec destroys character identity by removing tough choices
mage healer destroy character identity
warlock tank destroy character identity
the only true dps class is now Hunter
rest all hybrids classes
facts: classic sod character identity was destroyed from the begin,
changing runes doesn’t help because im spending almost 10 pts talents in Tank related minmax dps specc already having ]problems vs all other classes in pvp btw
EVERYONE WILL BENEFICT from dual spec
Yeah, constantly reskill is annoying.
thats the problem, just makeit if u want dual specc u pay gold, when u want to change spec u have to go to any inn big citys or other inns so ppl cant just spam respecc
Respec requires a token from reagent vendor and they cost gold. Unique (20) and stack to 20
Keeps the convenience of dual spec while still costing gold.
Quad spec or nothing imo
Nothing was “destroyed.” Just Mages doing Mage things.
A Mage could channel other kinds of magic. An Arcanist can also control fel, necromancy and the elements. Theoretically, they could develop practices to tap into life or holy magic.
Look at our homie Arugal. What did he do? He summoned the Worgen from the Emerald Dream. What about the Arakkoa (spelling? The big birds) or Draenei who used light magic almost as a technology? In The Last Guardian, there is even a reference to the possibility for an Mage to use nature magic. (Gnome Druid when pls)
TBC and Wrath made significant improvement on the rough game that was Vanilla that wasted our time. These QoL improvements are just better and make the game better. You had more time to play the game how you wanted (which is a good thing).
With that said in SOD I don’t think anyone is looking for a Vanilla experience. SOD should be a culimination of many expansions. It’s not Retail nor Vanilla. It’s a new game and new experience. SOD should incorporate the obvious QoL features that made WoW better.
Do you mean you would then carry stacks of respec tokens to respec between pulls?
Why not just go respec at your trainer? It’s part of the game that we have opted to play. My vote is that I don’t want dual spec.
I think if they were planning on it, they would have announced it already. Would have been a easy win for them, the player population as a whole would rejoice, except for the players that throw rocks at birds singing in trees because “they sounded happy” or in other words, 70% of the forums.
