If you can’t answer it does that mean death knights should be in tbc?
Then again I’m asking you to explain what they break so I can better show you how dual spec breaks things by following your logic paths for how death knights break things.
So, do death knights break anything in tbc? If so how.
Other than adding a new class with completely new abilites that are the content of the time was not tested with, scaled for, on a class which was literally never designed for max level raiding at 70? Mechanics that could be completely negated with stuff like purgatory, lichborne etc because the content was never designed with them in mind.
As opposed to adding dual spec which lets you… spec what you can already spec as the existing classes?
Lets explore this some more since it’s actually the most retarded analogy ever.
Classes are designed around death knights being in the game at 80. They get the tools to deal with them in wrath; they don’t have those tools at 70. Pvp would be instantly broken.
Death knights get a lot of what makes the class “work” between 71 and 80. Are you (or rather the blizzard devs) going to completely redesign the class so it works at 70?
Likewise, there is no level 70 version of the talent trees for DK. Are you saying you think the current blizzard is going to do all this work in what would essentially be a version of classic+?
Not even remotely comparable with dual spec which, by the way, is the exact kind of feature the classic “devs” like - one, like hvh battlegrounds, they can literally just flick a switch on to set and forget, and which requires no added work.
Lol daily reminder, hvh is in the game and isnt going anywhere!!! Hurr durr
I mean you’re trying to compare multiboxing with dual spec so I think we just got the impression that “retarded” analogies was the language you guys speak in.
The point of the DK comparison if you’re really not sharp enough to get it:
There’s nothing in your logic that says DKs wouldn’t fit in to the game.
Your talk about balance around the DK is utterly laughable, as DKs were referred to as profoundly broken for the first tier/season of WOTLK. They were called many things like “free glad” or “glad cheese”.
If they added DKs they could simply change other things to “balance” around them, because according to you nothing seems to be off limits.
No, in that instance we’re comparing the opinions of today’s devs on things that happened 15 years ago with… the opinions of today’s devs on other things that happened 15 years ago. Lmao
And so you’re saying what, it would be more balanced in TBC where classes lack the new talents and abilities designed around death knights being in the game? Are you for real?
Yes except in case you havent noticed, the classic team literally doesn’t do any novel development work, all they do is flip switches to turn existing retail features on and off. Like hvh bgs (stupid masks and all). Or… dual spec. Can you think of any work they’ve done which resembles designing entire new talent trees or ability loadouts for classes? Heck, they couldnt even design an original nerf for ssc/tk, so when people complained the post-vashj nerf was still too little, they just pulled in the sunwell changes instead LOL
You’re lying right now since you claimed you could do 2-3 dailies on average in about 10 minutes. Not just the fishing and cooking daily.
I guess it would be surprising to you that most of us aren’t sitting on the forums constantly watching for a post to reply to. Most of us go do other things for hours between our posts. It’s pathetic that you don’t.
This has been explained multiple times. You’re welcome to disagree but please don’t feign ignorance. It just invites us to ignore your posts for arguing in bad faith.
The difference is that not all opinions of the original devs / CMs are equally weighted. Yes, they supported MB but they never called it out as being an intrinsic part of the game design. We have invited the advocates in this thread to provide any evidence of the sort, and I have stated I will completely concede my argument if they can provide this. To date, this request has just been conveniently ignored…
The inconvenience of re-respeccing was expressly stated as intrinsic to the game design. It is the definition of false equivalence.
You have demonstrated a consistency of ignoring inconvenient data points. Also, it’s telling that you have resorted to ad-hominens several times in this thread.
Yep - the last six months on this topic in a nutshell:
Ziryus asks a contrived trap question → Someone provides an answer → Ziryus claims falsely “yeah but you’re #nochanges” and then so “noone ever answers my questions” … and around we go over and over again, same trap questions, same responses …
Thing is - it’s a ploy by him to generate bumps to keep the topic in front of the devs (he honeslty believes the developers are actively looking at this rubbish).
Yeah, I thought this way too, every time I read posts by horde complaining about their 1 hour queues, or Elron complaining about our ping to the US being high.
Next minute kaivax is in there making a blue post, and a feature followed the next patch.
