Weird how opinions works and that a lot of people disagree with your arbitrary decision with no reasoning behind it about why dual spec shouldn’t be added.
Asking for something does not imply we think we’re entitled to it. It’s simply a request and the devs asked us to make requests that we think might improve the game. Entitled is just your new insult of the day. You don’t have a good argument to back up your opinions so you go from insult to insult.
Reasons which don’t actually play out in game basic they’re nonsensical fear mongering.
The only valid reason that has been given is that people would switch specs too often in raids. And hey guess what most people in favor of dual spec would be fine with a reasonable cool down on it. But that’s the difference between a good faith discussion and you just trying to shut down the conversation because you don’t want dual spec for reasons you can’t explain.
Yeah it kinda does lol. Otherwise, why are you asking? Telling me that its a mere request and you’re operating out of some altruistic sense of purpose to improve TBC doesn’t mean you incidentally don’t want it because you clearly do.
If you want to play that game though then you gotta pick a winner and only one side can rationally justify their entitlement and its not the pro dual spec guy.
Its a huge assumption on your part that Blizz has dual specs on their table but even if they did it doesn’t mean its going to go from the table and into the game - so who cares what’s sitting in the suggestion box if its not likely to see the light of day?
Dual specs are a pipe dream at this point which you’re certainly allowed indulge in.
No, it doesn’t. I’ve asked friends for a favor. I never thought I was entitled to their help. I’ve asked women out for a date. I’m not entitled to it. She has the right to say no. That’s where you incels get confused. The dictionary is a useful tool. You need to refer to it more often. I’m truly amazed at how many people lack the basic skills in English that many of us learned in elementary school.
Can you spot the gaping flaws in your pathetic analogy? You asking your friends for help or courting uninterested ladies has no bearing on me. You’re not asking Blizz for a favor that’s between just you and Blizz. You’re dragging me into your greedy laziness and expecting me to be okay with it because youre okay with being greedy and lazy. Im telling you no thanks just like those women.
Big difference. Maybe if you spent more time thinking critically and less time forming juvenile insults that miss the mark by a mile you could correct your mistakes because theyre not helping you.
It would go the same as this thread except I would know I was trolling instead of wearing it like a coat of shiny armor and reveling in my stupidity like its earning me points with the devs.
Are your reading skills this poor. I don’t expect anything that’s said on the internet to get universal agreement. You can’t even get agreement on the internet that the earth is a round planet. There are still morons that think it’s flat. Intellectual comrades of yours. No matter what someone says I expect someone else to disagree.
I asked blizzard to ban key repeating software that was used by multiboxers. I never thought I was entitled to that change and I didn’t expect them to do it. Many others asked for things, no world buffs, HvH bg’s, nerfed xp in dungeons if there was a high level selling boosts, drum nerf, etc. Sometimes they get what they ask for sometimes they don’t. Simply asking for a change doesn’t mean a person thinks they’re entitled to that change.
I’m quite seriously telling you that your vocabulary and basic understanding of English is pathetic. You need to learn how to use a dictionary.
This is a series of assumptions on your part so you don’t get to assume one set of assumptions (without evidence) is better than another set of assumptions (also without evidence). Either Blizzard does or does not add Dual Spec to TBCC, but until we get an answer, the only default position is the neutral of “maybe”, not a “yes” and not a “no”
So calling a request for a change to be “entitlement” is just silly since it ALSO causes any opposite position to be “entitlement” as well.
This doesn’t create the defeater you want it to create, even if you think the request is absurd. All this does is reframe your anti-DS argument as “it is probably not going to happen because it is silly/absurd” which is a fine opinion to hold, but hardly a definitive one, and certainly not one you get to make demands of without being entitled.
There’s a world of categorical difference between a fixed claim that something will or will not be, and a probabilistic claim that is hedging based on unknown variables. People ASKING for Dual Spec aren’t counting on Blizzard doing it for sure, we’re asking them to consider the change only.
This is the counter-position entitlement. You’re no more entitled to the game staying the same than we are getting the game to change, so acting affronted and morally superior while declaring everyone ELSE to be entitled or illogical is hilariously and hypocritically entitled and illogical.
