Correct. What point are you making?
The options and rules within that game are more or less able to be counted on one hand. There is a huge difference in the screen scrolling only one direction in a 2D platformer (in which it isn’t you saying to go from left to right, but the game providing no other option) and selecting activities from among many activities in a social and always-online MMORPG.
“Don’t tell me how to play” within Super Mario would be like you suggesting we must never let up on the right-side of the D-pad in order to finish every level as fast as humanly possible, and others just wanting to relax and ease their way from level to level, grabbing lots of extra coins and hunting for Fire Flowers, etc.
It means ghostcrawler was 100% correct in that it was a major change.
When did Ghostcrawler say it was a major change?
Now you’re just arguing semantics.
He predicted correctly it would be a major change.
That make it better for you?
This is a quote from when they added dual spec into the game:
“Nethaera : Why are we allowing players to dual spec after all this time?
Ghostcrawler : We really felt like this was a great way to increase the flexibility available to players and encourage them to take part in more aspects of the game. To use just one example, some players like to participate in both raids and Arenas, which is awesome behavior that we want to promote. But, there are some talents which are more useful in one part of the game than another. Currently, players have to pay respec costs and go through the process of setting up the desired talent spec and action bars whenever they switch.
The new system makes this a much more logical process, saving on time and cost and allowing players to easily move from one aspect of the game to another.”
Blizz acknowledges that the old no dual spec system was an issue for pvp players who swapped between content regularly.
I see no quotations, which obviously means you’re trying to lie again.
Because etc posted it just above…I figured you’re competent enough to have seen it…
Nowhere in that quote does Ghostcrawler call Dual Spec a “major change”
You are a liar.
I’m the one that called it a major change, I provided the GC quote so readers can understand why.
Like…I’m not sure why you’re arguing over…words and trying to say those words are the opposite of what they are.
Correct. That is your opinion.
Yes, it most definitely will probably change the game.
Where does GC say it is a major change?
Do you think “big” and “major” are not comparable terms, in this context? Just for clarification.
No, because the context includes the second sentence where he says “probably.”
You. Are. A. Liar.
The “probably” refers to his (correct) inclination to believe that adding dual spec would change the game in ways they can’t even predict.
Calling it a big change is separate from that.
How am I lying about anything lmao, bro don’t use or attack with words you clearly don’t understand the meaning of.
He never called it a big change.
It’s literally right there in the quote.
You asked for a quote. It’s in the quote. There’s the quote, where he says it’s big. Like come on, why do you have to get the conversation hung up on such arbitrary failures of being able to grasp basic words.
And afterward says it will probably change the game.
You are a liar.
So does that mean he actually didn’t use the word big? Because, strangely, the word “big” didn’t magically disappear from the quote when I read the second sentence. It’s still there. He said the word big. He didn’t not say it.
You are so hopeless lol
So does that mean he actually didn’t use the word probably?
