Well the era #nochanges realms are there for you to play then.
The Anniversary realms were for Era guys who wanted a fresh experience not a test to see what players wanted added into the game.
The definition of perserverance is “persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success”. I’m also not just “expecting” a different result, I’m spreading awareness to a serious issue that drastically changes situations within the game and one that already I realize nobody even is aware of what is possible in vanilla with this new addition “dual spec.” added into the game.
I remember the time when some feral druids argued dual Speck wasn’t needed in TBC. They said Retail is that way.
Now, the Era is that way.
They’re not testing anything, Dual spec has always been a wildly popular feature they know people in general want it.
Dual spec is already in and useable anywhere, you can either deal with it, quit, or keep complaining about things long after it’s too late
Guess which one of those makes you look crazy
I think dual spec. is beneficial and let’s you have flexibility within the game but it needs to be implemented where you have to go to your trainer to activate it.
/sigh another crazy/insanity jab. I’m here to inform and educate players on what will happen if dual spec. left in how it is right now. Please stay professional when discussing topics without attacking or jabbing someone in a negative way, as you know nothing about someone through forums as well as it doesn’t help you in getting your’ point across effectively. Thanks.
Stop acting crazy and people won’t call you crazy
Why? That’s just a pointless time sink.
It already can’t be used in combat.
“I like Dual Spec”
“I don’t like how other players utilize Dual Spec”
Then go play Skyrim so you’re in control of everything.
People will complain about this but also complain there’s no tanks because nobody wants to spend gold just to tank 1-2 dungeons.
these realms are headed for the trash heap i just had a premonition. people are only having fun leveling. once it comes raid time, everyone is gonna just log off forever. daul speck has ruined these realms.
The problem for you is that you are not educating anyone. While it is comical at the best, it remains a false narrative of yours. Now go play and play around with dual spec. Yesterday you didn’t even know how it worked
Yet another attacking post with nothing constructive. As for the dual spec. combat or not nobody knew yet. Why wouldn’t they change it in a way different than previous xpacs? After all this isn’t wrath or post wrath now is it.
daul speck bad
They already do
As a resident old fart AKA boomer, I don’t like change.
eyes you suspiciously and wants you off the lawn
However, as a healer, I don’t mind this change.
takes his meds
This change isn’t horrible and in fact I think it’s very beneficial and can be great, but how it’s implented is very important. You should NOT be able to change your spec. anywhere in the world.
It needs to be done at a trainer ONLY or it will have serious consequences on the game and playerbase on how the game functions as well as how the playerbase adapts to what new toolkit will become available for them to use in raids, pvp situations, or in general farming out in the world. In terms of being able to do it at any inn/(resting only) place in a city, (that is a whole lot better than the current state) but it’s immersion breaking (which is what vanilla IS all about) and introducing convenience to an extreme degree (which is NOT what vanilla is about). If a player knows they can go to any inn/city to change their spec. while traveling to a new place or anywhere in the world, it removes the consequences and takes the weight away that your decisions have from not being in the proper spec. with the knowledge on the current threats/situation you have and know about that lie ahead based off your current position before leaving your trainer.
Dual Spec. affects how raids are formed in terms of what specs to bring and hurts hybrids as now why bring a feral to flex between a tank or dps for example when you can bring a warrior that can be deep prot or fury with the click of a button. People don’t understand the implications a change like this will make in a game like World of Warcraft in our current sweaty, try hard, min-maxing culture we’re living in, in today’s day and age.
The dual spec. was designed to help players save gold on respect costs in vanilla as it was keeping players from playing a certain way they wanted to by not having the gold to do so. Instead players are going to be using dual spec. with 2 different builds for aoe/single target with more flexibility in order to change their spec. inside of a raid to fit the current situation and the raid comps. needs.
As for the PvP side of things, if someone felt they wanted to take it this far players could and would be able to drop combat after a long CC, respec. to something more optimal or to fit their current circumstances against another player, and switch into something more fitting mid encounter. This alone goes against how encounters should feel in PvP and throughout the world.
This is a MASSIVE change and one that if introduced into the game needs to be done in an absolute perfect way. For example, only able to change to your other specialization via YOUR CLASS TRAINER or it will turn the vanilla feeling server into an SoD 2.0/gogo-gadget (I can do everything at any time with this little trick in my back pocket) feeling one in the blink of an eye, in turn steering it away from the original goal of the servers creation in the first place, and thrown down a path these Anniversary realms were never supposed to go down.
dont assume your warlock life is the ssame for every char … some classes were respecing from pvp to dungeon few time a day !
