So many ways, I’ve not really had a ponder yet but wearing down cooldowns on a mage then swapping to PoM pyro is definitely an example.
Shadow priest dotting up an enemy then swapping to disc.
Druids applying bleeds than swapping resto.
Paladin wearing down an enemy in holy then finishing the job in ret.
Affliction to Soul link.
You can basically get the best of both worlds with every class, and some classes can get huge cooldowns and abilities that should not be able to be used together.
No offense but do you not see how stupid that sounds how are they dropping combat and then swapping specs for 10 seconds?
This is what I mean it just makes no sense
Not to mention in every one of your examples as soon as you swap specs you run out of mena

What do you mean, you can basically gaurentee a win by swapping specs to remove your weaknesses mid fight with no limitations.
It’s going to take you 5 seconds to get out of combat and then it’s going to take you another 10 seconds to fully cast the spec swap and then all of your resources are gone so if you have mana you have no more mana…
So once again your examples make no sense because now all of those people don’t have any mana… Not even mentioning the 15 seconds they needed to not be attacked to swap specs
Magic dust is 30s.
Warriors, rogues don’t use mana.
Even then it’s definitely a huge advantage to be utilised, the possibilities are endless.
Some may swap specs due to having no mana.
Mages can just drink, the enemies cooldowns are gone.

Like I said the only real thing is you got caught in your pve spec so you sleep me to go pvp spec but now you lost all your mana and you need to drink.
It’s the wildest once in a million situations where somehow someone might win with dual spec by jumping through massive hoops.

Convenient ignoring the class that arguably gets the most benefit lol. But yes mana was an oversight in my original ponderings, that does limit it’s use cases, although it doesn’t eliminate them.
It would be more intellectually honest to just say “I HAVE HURPA DURPA PERSONAL GRUDGE AGAINST DUAL SPEC BECAUSE REASONS” than to hide behind stupid hyperbolic hypothetical circumstances that never actually happen.
That wasn’t even your biggest oversight in your first example you literally took everybody out of their PVP spec to swap to some trash spec to finish me off in some fight it makes no sense.

Even in your second example it makes no sense adrenaline rush is trash in PvP… The only scenario I even see it working is if he somehow blew through all of his CDs pop preparation blew through all of his CDs again and somehow we’re both still alive.

Yea but I’ma wear down their CDs so now I have an easy kill but instead of just shatter combing them and kiting them I now rocket helm them and respec to pom pyro and lose all my mana.
Drink for 20 seconds, sheep and then pyro pom pyro them…I could of used that 40 seconds to just kill them as frost lmfao.
