Dual Spec is NOT a QOL Change

I’m not being scarce I’m being serious even tho that was a strawman

The game was better before all that happened. Only dads and noobs needed that change

Just because you say dual spec will change the game doesn’t mean it will change the game.

I am glad we got that sorted.

When they add it, you will not hear the end of it.

I will probably get banned for how much I will spam my excitement for it every 5 minutes on every thread.

50g is a fine cost for respec :expressionless: no need to reduce it. learn to farm gold

Just because people say chronoboon doesn’t change the game doesn’t mean chronoboon doesn’t change the game

Your arguments are invalid. If you want that “pure vanilla experience” you have to get rid of all the other QoL improvements that’ve been made to the game as well. You’re cherry picking which ones you want and don’t want. This is what makes you a hypocrite and invalidates your entire stance and anything you say going forward. Sitting there preaching about not letting dual spec into the game because it’s a fundamental change, yet being okay with chronoboon and all the other non-vanilla changes they’ve made is the textbook definition of hypocrisy.

These kids are an embarrassment to trolling.

It’s pathetic.

Yeah that’s poggers. If people want chronoboon and welfare r14 sod has all that

just because you think incorrectly that dual spec won’t change the game doesn’t mean it won’t change the game :expressionless:

The thing is, a lot of the people arguing there shouldn’t be dual spec, would also be perfectly OK rolling back those other changes.

So it’s not really the hypocritical gotcha you think it seems.

…are green/grey parsers.

Imagine that.

the fact you think only good parsers deserve an opinion means you belong in retail, not classic :expressionless:

No one cares about parsing except loser edgelords. Trying to insult me with loser edgelord neckbeard rhetoric is just an insult to anyone who happens to read it.

I notice you didnt bother with any of my contentions and just focused on me. Thats how losers operate.

Sign me up. Give me a real 1.12 server and you would never hear from me again.

Dual specs in Era is a fantasy peddled by people who don’t like Era.

Its not happening anyway so whatever.

I really don’t want to get into the back and forth bad faith arguments y’all are having, but can we at least admit this one is blatantly false?

WoW as a game means raw currency is constantly being “printed” because it’s a naturally occurring element of mob drops sold to vendors. If there’s no way to delete that currency, then the value of gold continues to shrink as more and more people have copious amounts, leading to wildly outrageous AH prices because “everybody has gold” as well as an increase in high value items being bought from vendors, i.e. mounts (like flying because we ARE going into BC).

Respec costs are one of the very view continuous gold sinks in vanilla era that physically removes gold from the economy, along side repair costs, reagents, etc… For a healthy game economy for new/casual players who have little time to farm gold, you NEED to have a way to remove excess gold from the game. The AH doesn’t delete gold (beyond a small tax cut) it just moves it from player A to player B. This has nothing to do with botting and RMT, although that is obviously a problem on it’s own for similar reasons and others.

If you need an example, just look at retail where everyone has gold in the millions. Little things on the AH are sold for hundreds at the least, with more expensive items like gear being upward to the ten-thousands. Yes, retail has existed longer but it’s the same principle. You have to have ways to remove gold for a healthy economy.

no, dual spec proponents can never admit when things are blatantly false. they will argue 2+2=5 till the cows come home :expressionless:

There hasn’t been one iteration of WoW that hasn’t had a broken economy.

Dual spec has no affect on inflation.

You aren’t getting invited either way when you can’t out dps the healer.

Sit this one out kid.

It most certainly will change the game. Just not in the way you say it will. It is significantly less impactful than chronoboon or any other changes that’ve been made to vanilla classic. Will sweats use it as a means of min-maxing? Absolutely. But you don’t have to play with sweatlords if you don’t want to. Content in vanilla is soooo damn easy casual guilds can clear the content in just a couple hours. It’s not hard. It’s so not hard that when classic vanilla first came out a group of underleveled undergeared players cleared the raids.

Yeah that sounds really healthy for the game, casuals, and people who want to try new things. lmfao.

This is probably the best argument for high respecs, is a fight against inflation. However, I would rather just have a higher tax on all AH purchases, or something like that. Instead of charging people for trying new things or helping out their friends with a tank/healer.

ok, then it’s not allowed in classic era fresh :expressionless: thanks
