World buffs were also a huge raid wide buff so there was clear incentive to use them, dual spec is not the majority of your raid would never even use dual spec in a raid.
A couple tanks or healers being able to use a dps spec when they can is a very minor swing in over all raid performance.
Just playing the game results in gaining gold for most activities (all if you are alliance with the pvp loot boxes)
The lack of gold comes from either a careless spending of it, or not playing the game enough to support your spending habits.
Dual spec doesn’t fix anything, it just saves gold in the long run.
If you wanted saved talent templates so you didn’t have to redo talents and action bars constantly, I’ll gladly support that. But I won’t support people who’s problem is “my gold bro” play the dang game and you have plenty if gold.
Heck I’ve made over 500g on my paladin I am leveling and he isn’t even lvl 50 yet (so very close). Skinning and enchanting. Knowing what to vendor and what to AH, exc. Because I’m PLAYING the game, not afk paying someone to boost me and resulting in a net loss of gold, but instead gaining gold.
Gold is falling out of people’s ears in tbcc, you have to actively try to use your gold up to not have any.
The want for wotlk dual spec boils down to people not wanting to play the game to begin with because if they were playing, they would have plenty of gold.
Or you know, require dps to have an aoe focused talent build for trash and then change back to the other talents for bosses… like what happened in wrath, the expansion of “aoe everything down”…
Na let’s not talk about that level of min max that happened, nope.
You keepbrepeating this like a mantra hoping it becomes true. It isn’t. I change specs multiple times a week.
Want to know why I can afford it? I play the game. I have multiple characters. Heck I’m even leveling a paladin specifically for tanking for if I am in the mood to tank.
But it’s OK, you constantly try to point to me raid logging, when your gold problems are a clear sign of YOU being the raid logger. If you played the game, you would have the gold. It’s that simple.
Gold effects EVERYTHING in the game. It’s far from minor.
Gold can buy you gear, consumes, arena rating, levels, exc.
The game is supposed to be this
Effort can be skill or time, or both.
Effort=gold+rewards
Gold is a reward for pure effort, plus other rewards.
You can then use gold to reduce effort for more rewards (or to get rewards faster)
Effort-gold=rewards
The more gold you use, the less effort you need to reach the rewards.
Removing a gold sink just encourages people to spend it on something else to reduce effort and get more rewards. Causing people to play even less by putting less effort into the game, which can mean less time played.
Working toward a goal encourages people to play. The more gold you have the less effort it takes if you chose to spend gold for that reward. And in turn the less time it takes.
Your entire reason for wanting dual spec boils down to “my gold bro” which means you don’t want to out the time or skill into the game to get the reward you want. So in reality. You don’t want to play the game, you just want the rewards.
No, that’s just your twisted interpretation of it because you refuse to even look at the context of what was asked and when it was asked, as well as ignoring half of the actual answer given.
Nothing misleading about it. I was asked my play time at a specific time. I answered for that time. That time was during the holiday season, mid December.
Then again you try to paint any reason agaist dual spec as no changes. You are intentionally misrepresenting anything and everything you can, if it fits your agenda.
Dailies are stupid, boring and repetitive. They’re a time waste. They’re designed for people with the mentality to do assembly line work. Or for someone with only enough intellect to work for homeland security and move a line of people through the airport security check in. I’d only do work like that if I was desperate for money, but I’ve usually been able to find higher quality work. Work that engages my mind. I won’t do it in a game I play for fun. But some people are born for that type of work. They lack the mental capacity to be bored by it and to find better work. Those type of people are fine endlessly doing dailies over and over and over and over and over…
