Where is this 4 hour CD information coming from?
Source please for where any developer has said anything at all about dual spec except that they are allowing it but are considering limitations. They have not specified what those limitations are and are taking feedback on Twitter.

I asked for a source where they specified “how they want us to play.” The short answer is that they haven’t because it’s still under consideration which makes your argument moot. They haven’t decided on anything.

I don’t even know if they’ve said that. But if they did, guess what, it’s their game, their vision, and you play how they want you to play.

As far as I know, they haven’t.
I have read examples of limitations and 4 hours was probably the most extreme example.

You cant argue about a change that isnt been announced. Its crying wolf.
Originally Dual Spec IIRC (FROM ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME BACK THEN) required you to be in a rested area to change it. You cant change in BG once the BG has started, nor could you change it in a raid instance or dungeon. What more restrictions do you want??? AND most importantly explain how adding another restriction would actually help the game any at all? If you can not do that then your just trolling and IMHO everyone needs to just mass report you for trolling.
I think you summed it up pretty well. You can’t argue for people to play the game the way the developers want them to when you don’t even know what that is. You clearly have an opinion but that’s all it is. Your opinion and not based on anything the developers actually said. Which is fine. Just own it.

Unlike in TBC, there are bosses that are tuned for role switching, like Hodir hardmode.

Yes you can? What an odd statement. Sure, we can’t argue specifics, but the argument still stands. You play how they want you to play. That’s it. They create the world, they create the rules of the world.
Except it is. They’ve explicitly said they’re considering restrictions. That is my opinion as well. It sounds to me like you don’t actually even know what this thread is about.
You keep bringing up this narrative that I want people to play the way that I personally want them to. The way I want people to play is irrelevant here. We’re talking about the developers, not me.
I can assure you, they will still have a game without the pro dual spec crowd. Who knows, they may even have a fanbase that actually enjoys playing the game.

Dual spec is not something you even have to buy. Most of my characters in 2009 never had it, not til cata.

Except if they add in a dual spec CD, that becomes a part of playing the game. This logic doesn’t hold up at all. Why has any restriction in the game? Just let us play!
