Dual Spec Classic

Oh even better a multiboxer. That counts even less.

just because i identify as 10 elemental shaman doesn’t give you the right to dismiss my opinion, RUDE.

But yea huh.

respecs cost me 1000g each time. multiboxers should get, at least, bare minimum, reduced respec costs divided by the number of accounts we own to keep everything fair and balanced.

With what exactly? Lol.

He actually has 10 level 60s.

What about it? I just don’t understand what you mean.

  1. Not a chance
  2. I’m pretty sure it was not introduced until 3.0 aka WoLK. You are thinking too far into the future to be considering if it good or not.
  3. Classic is not about quality of life. If it was, then there would be addon’s for everything and we would be on flying mounts.
  4. Introducing dual spec will kill the game. It was not part of Vanilla which Classic is supposed to be based on. More to the point, introducing such a radical & fundamental change to the game would open Pandora’s box to every other desire introduced later in retail / expansions.

I cannot say with 100% certainty, but many requests like this tend to create the impression that the poster has never been without that feature/perk. Many people will say “I played back in Vanilla” but there is no way to be sure, until now.

#nochanges thank you

People like you are why retail is the way it is. Go back to retail.

The only way you have 10 is from multi-boxing. Which means you didn’t even really play the game.

Some people brain is heavily damaged, no other explanation.

Even dual spec is BAD, having any spec limit is BAD design, it locks you and reduces your possibilities / game experience.

It add’s NOTHING positive into the game.
It has no lore ties.
It has nothing to do with economy balance.

It’s just another stupid check on the non-sense “hur dur no chances” stupidity.

Ffsks go study a bit about UX.

1- Would you like to see Dual Spec implemented in to Classic WoW
Yes

2- Do you remember it being implemented in Original WoW and if so did you like it then and though it was a good addition to the game?
No

3- Do you believe this feature will be a positive quality of life improvement for Classic WoW?.
Yes

4- Do you believe implementation of Dual Spec will be a game breaking for Classic WoW?
No. I don’t even really care that much for farming spec, but at this point there is a huge shortage of tanks and to a lesser degree, healers. Before you roll in and stomp your foot with “just tank” or something along those lines, WoW is not setup for a unch of mainspec tanks. Dungeons, which most people do go gear up for raids, which is the hardest thing to get through right now due to lack of tanks. This is true even for retail due to the ratio required for dungeon vs raiding. You can argue all the minute details of how many tanks are required for blah blah blah encounter but it boils down to 2-3 main spec tanks and the rest can just offspec tank and be fine. So in raids I’ll be generous and say you run 4 mainspec tanks, that’s 10% of the raid. In a dungeon composition it’s 20%. So there will always be a shortage of tanks to get the DPS geared up or hell to just get the DPS something to do.

It can be argued that anyone can fake tank instances however a lot of people lack the confidence to just fake tank or heal a fake tank. They are stuck in 2004 and have a hard time believing anyone can do a dungeon without massive CCs and a pure tank. Same could be said to a lesser degree about healers.

Furthermore the reputation thing is bogus, you’re stuck on your server, everyone knows who the crap tier players are no matter what. It’s not like I’m suddenly invite Bob the ninja tank to my party cause he’s now a DPS.

I never understand the hate against duelspec and transmog, the logic just not right. Not that it would put in classic any time soon, but I believe after 2 year and no content updates, they will put this in classic

The fact I started with a 1 gold respec instead of the original 20 silver or 40 silver from Vanilla.

I think adding dual spec will be good fro classic not bad, it would enable players to change back and forth for specific roles and pvp making more people ready to play with others.

That’s the stupidest thing I ever heard… so if you want to PVP and Raid, you have to change your spec every time you raid and pvp, on top of switching your bars. That’s just stupid and hurts the game.

For some classes thats what needs be done. For instance as a Rogue I want to be Combat for dungeons, but playing Subtlety would limit me and my party.

Other classes have the same issues… Having a pvp spec and a raid spec is why they implemented it in the first place.

For people that tank and then want to dps, or heal then tank ( PLD) or any variation. You are a Druid that can do all 3 albeit not great but you can do all 3 in any tree! Nobody else really can.

No man because it takes away your identity.

While I was leveling I had people ping me as soon as I would get on to tank for them because they liked how i did last night or last week. People would remember me 10, 20 or 30 levels later and ask me to groups. Randoms would vouch for me to their friends as a “good tank” and I would get into runs very easily.

I mean now I’m a scumbag dps but thats a different story. Adding dual spec would be cool but its not classic.
