From my experience and understanding, the ASUS Dual models are one of the lower-end cooler designs.
It is probably fine, but what are you paying for it?
It’s not worth a dollar over $499.99. I’d pay less, if possible, given the RTX 3070 is supposed to be way better performing and the same price. But in reality they won’t exist for some time.
I just looked at prices for RTX 2070 Supers…holy cow.
They are supposed to be $499.99, with high-end models costing somewhat closer to $559.
They are all ridiculously overpriced at the moment. Like, $700. Even the cheapest ones are over $600.
Do NOT pay these prices for low-old stock stuff.
If you have to have a GPU now, get this Sapphire RX 5700 XT Nitro+ (the best one) for $465, + $40 off, + free godfall and Shadowlands expansion

It’s only a couple percentage points slower than the 2070 super, and will be only $425 + free games.
If you must have Nvidia, wait for midweek B-Stock EVGA. They had 2080’s for $450.
I just realized this is two 2070s, not the Asus dual model
That’s a terrible choice no matter the cost
SLI is dead and not worth it for most games only a few benefit from it.
Just wait for the 3070 is out and more available or pick up a 3080 if you don’t mind the price.
like Canadiana stated, he’s dead Jim
On September 17, Nvidia announced it “will no longer be adding new SLI driver profiles on RTX 20 Series and earlier GPUs starting on January 1st, 2021,” and RTX 30-series GPUs will not receive SLI profiles at all.
