Other games allow for a single character to have at least two classes. With certain cross perks depending on the two you pick. When will WoW finally get this?

Druid Mage. oof how awesome would it be to insta-cast from bird form? Or Blink as a bird? Or conjure refreshments as a bird? Or Ice Block as a bear? I bet you stick out of it a little bit. I wonder if those parts can still take damage…

Certain lore characters are on the wiki as two classes fyi. Thrall is a Shaman/Warrior.
They struggle to balance things as it is, let’s not make it worse.

Probably never since they went the route of relying on class specializations to cover character variations for abilities.
Some classes can “Dual Class” though. A protection paladin and a holy paladin are quite different.
if the combinations were limited then balancing wouldn’t be that hard. I’d say something like Paladin / Warlock might not be an option. but that’s just me.
Dual Spec is not the same as Dual Class systems. Also in other games you can’t be both at same time. You have to change. But you get certain class combo moves. So like a Hunter Mage would get magical dmg on all shots for example.

Bro, they can barely balance the classes that they have. Adding hundreds of class combinations would be awful for the game.
How dare they try and make new things that people could find fun…
very likely never because it would reduce the amount of hours a person spends in the game.
same reason why we always have “meta picks” every season that change = forcing people to re-roll and spend more time in the game/spend more money on wow tokens to gear up new alt.
We’ll NEVER see classic servers. Blizzard already gave their “wall of no” on that.
We’ll NEVER see pvp servers go away. They’re here to stay.
We’ll NEVER see cross faction groups, it goes against the “spirit of Warcraft”.

Oh boy, can’t wait for the RL to assign half the raid to grab priest for twin priestess PI. The other half gets to pick selfishly for their own additional CD. Yeah, I don’t see this plan getting any traction.
