I am constantly disconnecting when my character becomes tipsy/drunk. I am using Rumsey Rum variants and during the first 3 minutes of their duration if I make any rapid movements that go against the drunk movement it seems to disconnect me straight to the log in screen. This is pretty scary on hardcore.
I have tried it without addons and after deleting my WTF folder etc still seems to occur. I am not lagging and have no issues when I am on a flight path.

Moving around a lot in a chaotic way triggers anti-cheat in most games, so it’s likely you are triggering that protection in WoW. Changing addons etc will have no impact.
I’m not moving chaotically, it’s just holding right click down on the mouse and forcing movement outside of how being “tipsy/drunk” forces you to move is causing me to disconnect which should not be a thing on hardcore. It doesn’t happen to everyone but myself and one other friend have this similar issue.
Yes, that is how I would describe chaotic movement. I recommend making a Bug Report post to tell them the anti-cheat is too sensitive when the character is drunk.
same thing happened to me today, I used 4 Rumsey Rums on different computers to see if it was a addon thing or cache and it disconnected every single time. They should fix it.
Happened on WoW Classic Hardcore.
