Druids need serious buffs for pvp in all phases

Or level 2 druids. Boom! Problem solved

Legit got me considering this.

Let me save this thread for when I’m bullying everyone in phase 2 with my Feral in PvP.

I already know who’s clueless. I just need to remind them when the time comes.

Feral was some BS OP stuff in vanilla PvP. Just shift to bear and full heal anytime you get low on health. I hate druids.

You’ve also got to factor in what you’re bringing to the team in group pvp. Wildstrikes shouldn’t be slept on when pared with a rogue or warrior, especially the latter.

Inc flag carrier druid in travel form being guarded by wildstriking MS warriors.

Also LotP

Saying they offer so much utility being the reason they shouldn’t be able to do anything remotely close to other classes is stupid. Flag carrying should not even be a factor in any debate for PvP.

Their scaling sucks, core stats, talent trees, mana costs etc are the bedrock of why it sucks and will continue to suck. Druids are already doomed. No amount of powershifting in PvE will save it, and you are just a third wheel in pvp.

You can flag carry!

Oh boy, I get to run away, forever, such fun. Imagine if rogue/warrior was suddenly terrible at everything besides being able to run with a flag in WSG and good at literally nothing else in the game. Least played classes instantly.

Good thing this isn’t close to the same game.

Feral has always been bad in Classic.

You never play deep feral.

Nothing is changed.

At least hybrid builds are decent now. And I made a druid just to spam sunfire on people before starsurge was buffed.

So yes people want to do it.

Possibly, but the gear you already need for that vs the gear you require opponents to have (ie not much or extremely low stam) is unlikely.

However that doesn’t mean it won’t be better in world PvP.
Cheap form swaps with Travel Form as well as increased movespeed to escape/catch, plus 15% stun proc from Imp Starfire just to name a few things will really make it a pain to deal with lol.

play to your classes strengths, not its weaknesses.
Druids have always been about versatility and utility…annoying the hell out of your opponent as opposed to just straight up one shotting them.

My most playtime in my wow career is feral Druid, followed by resto Druid.

In open world pvp, if you have feline swiftness 2/2, and have Sunfire Rune equipped you can destroy Paladins, Rogues and mages.

Priests are basically impossible to kill. They probably won’t kill you unless you mess up, but essentially it’s just engage to see if they will let you kill them otherwise run away.

Warlocks are very hard to kill, but it is possible if you’re running in and out of range and they are kind of bad.

Hunters are hunters. If they suck and you hit the 2% chance to hibernate their pet you might win.

Can’t speak to shaman as I’m horde.

If you’re running mangle and expecting to play like a rogue and invis jump people, with or without swiftness you will lose more often than you will win.

Warlocks will kill you.
Paladins will kill you.
Hunters will kill you if they know how to press their melee buttons cuz their melee will out dps you. Plus pet.
Priests are unkillable.
Mages are mostly still food but can possibly 1 shot you every few minutes if they don’t panic and set up properly.
Rogues will probably kill you if they jump you, or die if you jump them.

Feral can’t WPvP or 1v1 or BG as melee and expect to do anything. You HAVE to Sunfire kite to do anything. Even with intelligent bear shifting.

I feel like you’re missing the point of being a druid

Are you serious? That’s literally how you win.

Finally, someone who seems to have a touch of knowledge of Era Druid.

Era Druid has foundational issues that make it the worst class at baseline. A druid has to put in 3-5x the work of other classes to come close to their output because of how poor their scaling is, how inefficient the class is, and how weak their talents are

No, no it isn’t.

That is only on Druid. You can PvP as pretty much anything else and raid just fine.

You are talking out of your anoos.

You can be highly effective in “raiding specs” on lock, mage, hunter, paladin, rogue, shaman.

I’m not sure you understand just how bad druid is at baseline in Era relative to the other classes. You can finesse it and work with it, but you have to put in 3-5x the work of other classes, easily.

The shifting cost alone makes druid one of the least attractive and functional classes unto itself.

The foundation of your point was that somehow balance is the PvP spec and feral is somehow the PvE spec. This is just not accurate. Full spec into anything on druid is bad. The best druid spec in pvp in era has always been resto to NS with feral to feral charge and some balance because druid requires ALL of those tools to navigate beating the other classes that basically get to go down their talent trees with minimal thought and produce massive output. The druid talent trees are without question the worst in the game

Here goes Ashenhorn. doesnt seem to understand that being a jack of trades makes you a master of none for balance reasons. Druids are fine. role a pure class if you want to be the best at X. Become a total druid and use your whole kit if you want to succeed. Just stop being so bad

Druid isn’t the only hybrid class. And what he is saying is accurate.

Have you ever played Shaman, Paladin and Druid in era? I have. All to max level. All to at least Rank 11 in PvP. Paladin and Shaman are infinitely stronger than Druid as hybrid classes. Also more mana efficient. Also have stronger talent trees.
