Druids need more racial options (especially on horde)

That’s what we pay them for.

And it’s not as much work as they make it out to appear to be to the masses.

You can go to a Youtube content creator, give them the creation engine for WoW and they can likely mock up an entire new model for a Druid form, complete with animations, triggers, proper damage, etc, and have it all complete–by their lonesome–doing 8 hour shifts per day, two days off a week, and have it done in a month or less.

That’s just one individual content creator.

@Edit:

Strike that, it would take less time because all they would have to do is copy/paste the animations, damage calculations, hit triggers, keybind recognition, etc, and make them work for the rigging of the same-skeleton they use for the new Druid forms (since they, literally, do use the same skeletons.)

Female zandalari and female darkspear are basically the same, to be fair.

Yes and if you read a few posts down you’d see that because highmountain is barely different from tauren I dont think the horde has very good druid variety. horde has 2 almost identical druid tauren races and 2 trolls (with at least a decent difference).

Alliance has 3 much more varied (in comparison) druid races with nelf, KT, and worgen.

So essentially the point Im making is fewer choices is still better variety if the higher number of choices are all really similar.

I would still advocate for more alliance druid races of course but I don’t think your point is super valid.

Except Tauren and troll are MUUUUUUUUCH more different than Night Elf and Worgen.

Hope definitely have much more variety in their druids than Alliance. To think else is just objectively wrong.

Especially horde? You have more druids than us :unamused:

I have to agree that the Alliance has more variety of different druid races, with one animal one (worgen, not counting this as human as you can’t be in combat for the human form), one human one (Kul tiran Human), and one elven race (Night Elves).
The horde have two trolls (Zandalari, Darkspear) and two Tauren (HM tauren and regular Tauren).
However, druids are one of the most popular races currently in wow, and I think it’s important to have a somewhat equal footing in the number of races capable of being druids.

So I’d say give Alliance 2 races capable of being druids and give the Horde 1.
The alliance should have at least 1 of them be very close to some of the other druid races of the Alliance though, for example Humans.

The Horde could have one of the other races learn it, for example either Mag’har or regular orcs. Maybe the vulpera, I’d prefer if the arcane focused elves didn’t get it as it’s so far off from their culture focused on magic.

Or just give the Alliance one druid race and then make Pandaren be druids, adding a new option to both for the price of one.

I think they mean more race variety, horde is literally just Taurens and Trolls, while Alliance is Night Elves, Worgens and Kultirans.

Im only for unlocking all blood elf class options.

As long as its belfs, we should be whatever we want.

An as part of the deal, and to gain alliance support, I also claim that gnomes be only mages and warlocks. Locked out of everything else.

I think that would be a good compromise.

Yes agreed with this.

Love this concept! Make it happen!!!

But undead druids would make sense because they can just rearrange their bones.

Going by their logic that 2 different types of Tauren and Trolls are the same, Kul Tiran Humans and Gilnean Humans are clearly the same as well.

Mechagnome druids that shapeshift into mech-forms, and they make the Transformers noise every time.

I want this so badly.

I’m still holding out for Wildhammer druids with stocky Canadian Lynx cat forms. Bends the lore a little but meh, it’s no worse than cow-paladins.

They already exist? They are called battle pets.

The answer is no. The collective community refuses to acknowledge in-game races with tails. You’re taller vulperas to us.

I kinda want to see Mechagnome druids, kinda like mecha transformers.

In the name of Fandral … no! You should be grateful that there are more druid options than just the night elves.
